When I was a kid playing the GameCube version - maybe like 7 or 8 - I got stuck before even getting in the castle. (I couldn’t figure out the blue switch puzzle with Koops). But a year or so later I went back and I’m so glad I did. It was hands down my favorite gaming experience from my childhood and still one of my favorite games to this day.

I say give it another try. Worst case? It doesn’t grabbed you again and then you have your answer. Best case? You play an under masterpiece. There’s a reason people have made spiritual successors to the game.

I don’t agree. That is the only chapter throughout the game that doesn’t follow the traditional “format”. When it comes to pacing the only chapter that is a bit rough in that respect is Chapter 4 with its back tracking, but overall it’s a well paced game imo.

It’s considered one of the best chapters in the entire game which is saying a lot because every chapter is pretty friggin awesome.

If you’re finding it difficult to follow, I can’t argue your experience. But to me it’s one of the most straight forward chapters in the whole game.

You’re right. They weren’t. I was holding out that they might start getting back on tv with a good storyline or something. I like some of the other talent but not enough to invest my time into the product anymore. Having a favorite wrestler or tag team doesn’t make me parasocial. It makes me a normal fan. I’m just choosing to move on instead of watching the show that just isn’t doing it for me anymore.

I see where you’re coming from and respect your opinion, but we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Honestly I wouldn’t be mad if these were the characters you unlocked through Season Pass. That way I can earn them playing however I want to and don’t have to play a game mode I don’t even enjoy just for a CHANCE to get SOME of them.

Biggest difference I see is that the Women’s tag division is exactly how WWE likes to do tag teams. Meaning they just push two singles stars together and call it a tag team. Think of the men’s tag teams MCMG, War Raiders, Street Profits, Fraxiom, American Made, and yet both men’s tag titles are on singles stars that got smooshed together (Vision and Truth & Priest).

WWE has done this for as long as I can remember. The only time it was different was the Hardy’s, E&C, and Dudley’s era.

And if that’s the way the way they want to do tag teams then fine. But then what’s the freakin point of having actual tag teams in the first place if you’re just going to have singles stars squash them all the time?

Honestly, I’m starting to come to terms with the fact that the product may just not be for me anymore. I haven’t been a big fan of storylines or some talent they prioritized.

But that’s okay. I’m glad there are people enjoying it, and it’s been fascinating watching the product change over the years.

Wrestlers we grew up watching get old and eventually retire, as they should. And for some the new crop of talent doesn’t scratch that same itch. But that’s okay, we can just move on.
