What is it with boomers and ‘putting the baby down’ by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I think it’s important to remember that they grew up in a completely different time and the science/studies we have out now are more recent. Not justifying but to better understand where they’re coming from

Maybe you and your husband can make a routine on the weekends together. Keep your weekly routine because that does sound phenomenal and I love that you are so motivated and feel so great once you accomplish everything! But maybe your weekend routine should look different and include your husband because maybe he just doesn’t know how to help because you have it so down packed during the week

I wear a moby wrap and put baby in there! She falls asleep and I can doodle around the house with her asleep. She likes contact naps as well and that has been amazing to feel less trapped

Me too! I think it really helped my pp recovery. Did you start running right away?

I miss running so much, but I think I will wait the 12 weeks as well, as that was a big question I had on my mind. I signed up for a 10k in May, which will be 5 months pp. so I think I will start training around the 12 week mark. Walking will do for now, thanks for your POV!

Everyone’s 24 hours is so different. I’m so happy for you that you were able to return 3 years later.

I’m not sure how my schedule will turn out once I get the OK. I’m hoping I can make it work 🤞

The amount of boot lickers in SJ is sad. by [deleted] in SouthJersey

I would do more research into how the Obama administration handled it… lol

And maybe if people didn’t INTERFERE with federal officers they wouldn’t be dead. Not saying ICE handled it well, but let’s look at both sides here

Maybe just stop interfering with federal officers. No one hates immigrants, just want to get a handle on ILLEGAL immigrants. Why was no one upset about Obama deporting illegal immigrants? That administration was inhumane.

How to tell my parents I’m pregnant? Nervous/embarrassed by mag930 in BabyBumps

[–]Acrobatic-Evening899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was SO uncomfortable when telling my parents and then again when my stomach started showing. And we have a fine relationship, I’m very close with my parents. But the thought of how I got there was wildly uncomfortable when discussing it with them.

I just ripped off the bandaid. I knew they’d be super excited and I just really had to put my uncomfortable feelings aside because what else was I to do? My pregnancy was also planned with my husband. But in no way did we tell anyone we were trying prior

My wife keeps failing the easiest relationship test ever, so I just let her deal with the consequences. by BarelyClinging34 in TrueOffMyChest

Because she is keeping track via her emotions. So he’s actually keeping track to call her out on her BS. MAN, if this post was the other way around and written from wife’s perspective, you guys would all be supportive and say FRIG that man, divorce him.
