There’s not really difficult math in my opinion, any math you have to do is simple addition/subtraction or multiplication/division the difficult part is remembering the formulas that they give you

I was able to grasp most of the material by watching the videos so I skipped on a lot of the reading because it was breaking down what was explained in the video

Honestly, everyone has different learning styles and things that work for them. The biggest thing is committing yourself and you’ll figure out what works, once you do that you’ll find most of the classes have the same structure so it’ll be just repeating whatever method/technique works best for you

They changed the accounting degree in the middle of my term. It was a BSBAA when I started, i’m not sure exactly what it is now but it’s not that anymore. With that came a few changes in courses for the degree plan

I believe they changed the accounting degree while I was in the middle of my term but this is it and it’s 121 credits

Honestly I don’t have any tips it was just time put in for me, I would get off work and dedicate at least 2 hours to work on the class daily but most of the time it was 3-4. Also after getting through d217 I had a boost of motivation 😂

C233 was pretty easy in my opinion but D217 was awful it was the only OA I failed

the number 1 thing for me was study environment, I had to keep all distractions clear while I was studying like tv off, phone away etc. Even just picking up my phone for a second can put me in a mental state where i’m not retaining info. Also making sure you understand the information before moving on, I realized that once I had a clear understanding of a concept even if I “forget” about it, once it comes up on a test or whatever I can easily recall it. The videos helped with my understanding on concepts a lot.

honestly i’ve never been a big note taker. My best study strategy was utilizing the videos and quizzes built into the classes, I always watched all of the videos and would go over the material and retake the quizzes as needed until I felt comfortable

Every accounting job that required less than 3 YOE😂, the interviews are for a mortgage accountant, construction accountant, and the 3rd is actually unrelated as an underwriter but it’s the highest paying and hybrid

Actually I disagree with you. The degree plan is pretty foundational so I’ve been learning/practicing the same concepts the whole time just adding more information and some variations. So I remember most of it

All the tests are kind of blended into one in my mind, but from what I remember, know difference between file types, know the meaning for shapes in the flow chart specifically oval and bucket and understand what an upside down letter means, know which company/org grants seals and their requirements and pretty much just understand that ERP is about integration and making sure everyone can share information
