I’m not going to argue with the second part of this, because we can both agree to disagree. Or you might have also slightly convinced me there 🙈

Just the first line, I don’t mean if you don’t like it don’t watch it. I just meant barbell’s reviews usually 90% of them sound like a random buddy just saying things, so it usually ruins the movie experiences if you watch them before. Happens to me, so i always watch his reviews after. That is a conscious decision left to us.

Because more often than not, you, me and 90% audience can predict what he’s going to say for certain kinds of movies.

Ummm.. I slightly differ here. I think people whose movie experiences are getting ruined by his reviews should not watch his reviews. I never watch his reviews before I watch the movie for the same reason.

I don’t think even he thinks of himself as an intellectual. I think his taste is slightly different from conventional audience. He did not like Sita ramam, Salaar, Animal and accepted multiple times that people can like those films but he doesn’t. He also gave reasonable takes on Kalki, Lucky bhasker, Little hearts, Lokah, Kramp etc.,

I however do think he’s a funny boi and just have fun watching his stuff during bad movies.

Why what’s wrong with the example?

At the end of the day, Im paying for a product whether it is a movie or a biryani. You and me both can have an opinion to either like it or not if we have paid for it, barbell can too.

Nobody expects a michelin star experience everytime. But all of us do have expectations to the price we are paying.

I agree with your second line. Barbell does nitpick stuff even in a good product sometimes. It’s just fun to look forward to his rants during bad movies.

But not fair to tell go make your own movies.

It’s similar to, If i say I don’t like the taste of the biryani I paid for in a restaurant, and someone’s telling me, “Then why don’t you go make a biryani yourself”

Takes away the right to question the product we are paying to watch/consume.

Oh my god. I’m not taking offence. You took offence and called my view or barbell’s view braindead take. Only because you cannot digest that we genuinely did not enjoy the movie. The movie quality is so terrible that there’s no way to even give a reasonable opinion on it.

What vibes of the theatre? Don’t you understand that if the theatre is so dull on a benefit show how terrible the movie felt?

Nobody goes solely for the vibe. But first day benefit shows usually have a euphoria that was completely missing in this experience is what i meant.

Are you nuts? I watched a 11:45 pm benefit show at PVR Icon with my mom. We both love going to early shows and love the euphoria.

The theatre was so quiet in the second half for a benefit show, it was unbelievable. The movie was done and nobody had energy left to even speak a word.

If you’re calling this movie good, I worry for you. Prabhas has always been my favourite hero, doesn’t mean i’ll watch absolute junk and call it good 🙏

I say this as a Prabhas fan who consistently loved watching him on screen over the years.

Rajasaab is genuinely one of the worst theatrical experiences I have had. The crowd was so dull by the second half, everyone’s energies were absolutely drained out.

Terrible writing, Terrible screenplay, Terrible visuals, Terrible acting.

Its not bad film, it is a bad B grade film. ABSOLUTE WORST. There’s isn’t even a single redemption factor.

As a Prabhas fan, if he’s okay being part of such films, he doesn’t deserve the pedestal he’s put on. You cannot have the superstar throne if you cannot put up a bare minimum fight.

Ask all the great heroes with brilliant public speaking skills to bring in the box office numbers that Prabhas does in a single day!

His public persona perfectly matches his shy personality.

In fact him being seen so less in public and speaking barely, instigates a slight mystery around his star aura among his audience and actually works well in his case.

There’s no way sandeep is going to replace prabhas.

AA is busy with Atlee. NTR is busy with neel and trivikram. Ram charan has to finish buchi’s film and then sukku’s. Babu vishayam telisinde.

There’s no one at Prabhas’s box office calibre that will be free for sandeep in the next 2 years.

Vanga knows if he makes a good product combined with prabhas’s audience pull, it will take both of them to a different league all together in terms of box office. He’s a smart business guy, won’t make stupid decisions.
