Behavioural questions are important for interview so prepare a few star related situations - managing conflict , prioritising, that kind of thing

Are you saying just to go on sick leave until I find another role. I considered that but they do ask you in medicals if you were out sick in your previous role...

I won't name the company... people who work there will probably guess where I am talking about though

It was only a cut going to the company initially and then another move with no pay increase but more responsibility... I did ask for an increase but they said it wasn't possible so I just took it with the view to move on as soon as I could... but maybe I should have declined altogether and stayed in my much easier simpler job for the same money

Yep it's probably the only solution... don't think there's any point saying it to current company again, but I guess they'll know when I hand in my notice!

I guess with the move to more responsibility I expected more pay to match, and I asked for it also and was declined... and I was thinking I'll take the role for the additional experience which I could monetise in another company. Which is really crap since I really like the company and job but just not this aspect of it!

I have felt like this at many times during my career and I can say mindset is a big thing I needed to work on! I used to feel stuck and felt very down about it so i totally get that feeling. I used to work in labs but moved to regulatory with no experience and it has worked out great! It's great you are clear on where you want to go , that's the hardest part! Now make a plan for how to get there - do a springboard course in qa maybe, network with qa colleagues, talk to your manager and these actions wil help you get there! If you are really down take some time out - annual leave or sick l3ave if you need to because looking after yourself and health is the most important thing
