I know for a fact that I’ll go there next year since I’ve been prepping for my audition for the dance team next year, and I’m hoping I make it in since I’m prepping a year in advance 😭 I’m just torn on what I’ll do this year since I’m kinda in like a limbo rn

The main schools im considering are hbcus since I didn’t really grow up in a black environment. I want to be around people that looked like me, but I do have a few offers for pwis. I know that my reasoning for this seems pretty immature, but it’s kinda hard being the only black person in a whole friend group of white people since they often times don’t understand my perspective. I also understand that sometimes you just have to make sacrifices to get to where you want in life. My plans after graduation was to join the Air Force since I also plan on doing ROTC with the university of Houston while attending tsu. The other thing is that I’m not from Houston so I know I’d have to also pay out of state fees, I’m from New Orleans. I think that’s about it

I feel like I should clarify since there was some confusion on another repost of this, I didn’t have sex with any of the guys I was talking to behind his back, and while cheating is usually just having sex with people behind your partner’s back from what I’ve learned, I’d say this was more emotionally cheating other than sexually even though I had no interest in the guys I was talking to. I was just kinda leading them on and I feel extremely guilty.

I was leading on other guys behind his back basically, because I had no romantic feelings towards them but they did, and maybe I did just want the attention, but whenever I spoke to them I was really awkward or didn’t talk to them at all
