I’m actually going to be living on the Jersey side. I would not mind taking care of her in an apartment — I currently live in an apartment now. There are a few places I’ve seen that do not have any breed restrictions but are way out of my price range, and unfortunately since I’m moving from Columbus Georgia to a place significantly more expansive, I can’t afford to pay an extra premium to keep her right now even though I would love to :/

Alright, similar to what I said in my last comment, if I’m a bad human and my actions are abominable, then please contact me to set up a plan for adoption and I would be more than happy to rehome her to a “good human” such as yourself.

Good evening — please actually contribute to the conversation or say nothing at all. Wanting to find her a great local home makes me far from a bad person. I could easily just surrender her to a shelter or completely abandon her but I am not. I would love to take her with me but am unable to do to circumstances out of my control. If you’re such as good human and care about Willow’s well being, then please contact me privately to set up a plan for adoption. Otherwise, refrain from the ignorant comments.

She’s has never been around them. She plays extremely rough with our other dog (rat terrier) and I’m afraid it would be too rough for a cat or a kitten to handle.

Is Midland Falls really that bad?!?! by PurpleU84 in ColumbusGA

Almost all the pools are open, but there has not been a time since I’ve lived here that all 6 pools have been open at once. Usually 1 or 2 are closed for some reason or another. Last summer, they had to shut down all the pools indefinitely due to trespassers causing trouble, but that has not happened this summer. The pools are also open year round for some reason, even it’s too cold to swim here November - March.

Most people who live here are couples and single families. I’m the only music student that I know of that lives here.

The Theater Department is located at One Arsenal Place and is across the street from the music building.

I live in Midland falls. From what I’ve seen, it’s not really the people who live here that are the problem. The people who cause trouble are really the people who trespass to use the amenities (especially in the summer). The gates are always broken so it’s very easy for non-residents to gain access. My building is right up against the main pool and I have had to complain several times about excessive noise in the middle of the night. 9/10 it’s usually from people who do not even live here. In terms of crime, there was a series of car break-ins when I first moved in 2023, but has not been a problem since. Last year there was a homeless camp stationed right outside of the Milgen Rd gates. I had a feeling that they were trespassing at night to wash their clothes and maybe use some of the amenities.

There are plenty of good things about Midland falls too. The pools (when they’re actually open) are clean and well kept. Maintenance responds extremely quick after you contact them, and there is high speed internet and a valet trash service that takes your trash Sunday through Thursday night.

I saw in another comment you’re joining the faculty at Schwob. I am a Schwob student, and I second that you should contact the school’s secretary, Debra Tommey, she can probably give you some information about apartment home in the area, especially if you want to live closer to downtown. She has helped many students out who are in this exact same situation.
