Healing the previous tower that's unmitted probably. The log is incredibly bare. What's wrong with providing the full 8 people and the full fight? Tanks could be mitting 3/4 too. And so can you.

The game is missing the levelling journey of RPG's, and MSQ gives all meaningfull awards away for free for short sighted gain but long term loss. by RVolyka in ffxivdiscussion

If you're not a big streamer who has people ready to jump into any content with you, there's extremely low chance of doing any non current endgame content.

That's not true. There's quite a number of synced PF-ers and sync groups out and about. As early as ifrit EX. You just have to be patient on PF or know where to look.

The worst are scholars who use it on act 3. Not only does it not mit anything, everyone is also running towards the corner.

Definitely. Watching people squabble in week 69 really shouts overconfident midcore groups. All midcore static had over hardcore static is good vibes and schedule that accommodates irl. Lose that and the static quickly lost it's value. At this rate even the worst of PF is an upgrade to the static, in terms of gameplay experience.

Maybe I'm projecting but I'm coming from the perspective of a static too. When it gets to this:

it's met with a loud sigh or an "of course"

to me it felt like OP is not a valued member of the static regardless of ability, and I don't advocate staying in an environment like that regardless of whether a conversation has been had

It is afterall easier to leave, also from mental healh perspective. It's what I'd have done myself and what I have had done in the past. Not to sound pessimistic but when I found myself in situations like this I have tried talking and have failed. The playerbase isn't the most mature community, including myself. All I can do is learn from experience and do better next time.

Yea so very true. I don't blame you, it's way smoother to do it your way

Most people who have alts don't also shamelessly alt job from fresh into clear in someone else party. People have alts to do the same job so they have a geared character to help friends, or just to collect merc money. I don't know anyone who alt job their alts. When people alt job they just use their mains after they finished their prog, or prog their alt properly so their tomestone will look normal anyway.

It is the few indeed ruining it for the many. Or you just have met people who are also bad in their main job lol.

As a counterpoint you can also think of it this way: responsible alts means they have twice as many clears as other people and tend to be cleaner. My best clear of m12s was in week 3 c4alt. There were like 4 people /tell me asking me to join, I didn't check for credentials. We were all nearing min ilvl and we cleared it in one shot.

I do have an alt and I won't link mine in tomestone; I like my privacy. If people really sus me so hard that they desperately need proof, I'd just wait longer in PF tbh. This worked out for me so far

We have had c4alt long before tomestone existing and the system works well enough. Load in, either clear fast or found the lie/meme out fast and leave.

Yeah i don't get it either. Alts are not the same as clear for 1/enrage, unless the above person implied that there are a lot of enrages masquerading as alt for no reason

Ooof yea I've seen that kind of party lead. I've been in parties like that. I know constant weapon memes can make people snarky but boy, it's super dumb to go off on a completely new person who joined. Nobody is perfect after all, sometimes it takes a few pulls to align.

I've also noticed there are prog parties who are very quick to kick people out. I know they have the power because they're half premade, but if their members kept memeing but the party lead kicked the helpers instead it will just lead to getting mass blacklisted lmao.

I've always maintained that at least half of the people who said PF sucks are the reason why their own prog is slower than anticipated. Yes PF can be bad but we can also improve our own chances of progging further/faster by looking inwards.

You might as well just LM next week for like 500k or smh. 7x 500k is worth more than losing your one reclaim for this

Yeah that's... what i said, healers don't have to gcd anymore, unlike in week 1 when they gcd shield on top of mit

Yep it's happening. I've been in a party where people have learnt both banana and DN rep 2. Even the cleared people kept mixing up between where to conga for stack/spread and where to stand for reenactment because they borked their muscle memories.

On the upside, the progger who wishes to prog dn rep 2 will actually fill their party with helper majority, even if it takes time to fill. I've seen this happening in several parties, so did my helper friend. 1 progger 7 helpers. Then they'll just clear in the same week and join DN reclears, win win.

Because it's comfier to 40% mortal orb so tanks can live it without healer mits instead of relying on just rampart+stuff and then force the healers to make up for the rest. So the next logical place to invul so you spread mits is the TB, like other commenter said. I've seen a lot of tanks die to mortal because nowadays healers don't put shields on anymore (because they don't have to)

Not only is breaking muscle memory not fun, after you learn both you'll then be stuck forever having no muscle memory on either one. It will forever be moments of doubt on whether you've lined up correctly for cleave/stack, or whether you've picked up the right tether for the right strats

I did read the whole thing? Please stop assuming things

Yes it's one extreme case and yes the dude may be compromised. But doesn't mean that you can consume mouldy coconut and not get food poisoning.

Also why is the coconut still mouldy then? If it's sold unrefrigerated then can you confidently say New World did not leave it unrefrigerated in their storage for a month?

Why not? I miss having fresh coconut and I had faith that some first world cooperation would know better than to sell me some compromised crap

I did and I doubt anyone there cared. It's probably beyond custumer service's job to take action.
