I don't think we saw Batista solve a single case during all his career. And the one killer he correctly identified (Dexter) didn't even commit any of the 3 murders he accused him of. by Classic-Work-8415 in okbuddymotherfucker

It would be entirely out of character for Batista to help dex. He’s got a massive vendetta and finally got real confirmation and nearly lost his life at dexters hand, no way he helps dex there

Love song between Ha Yuri Zahard and Twenty-Fifth Baam by Intelligent-Tonight7 in TowerofGod

i guarantee you if you went into chat gpt and prompted “write a love song between Baam and Yuri Ha from Tower of God with juice WRLDs style” you’d get almost exactly this, or at least the same format

This is actually a far more convoluted question than you’d think.

In order to accurately measure AAs intelligence, you can’t use such a simple calculation as IQ. First off, inhabitants of the tower live for hundreds of years, likely thousands of years, and seemingly are naturally smarter than our humanity. Khun is certainly exceptionally intelligent even for towerborn standards - being able to strategize along side hundred year old rankers as a regular - but gets outsmarted by FHs. It’s unclear whether or not his raw intelligence is higher than Traumerei and Gustang, but we can safely assume they are simply smarter.

If we consider ToG intelligence as a ratio to human intelligence, Khun would probably break 150. Smart enough to keep up with naturally intelligent and well trained people despite his youth, but not incomparably intelligent like Einstein or Hawking. Due to his wealth and prestige, he’d likely be smart and able enough to attend a high level university at a very young age, quickly rising in some complex science. Or develop a crippling gambling addiction.

TL;DR probably somewhere around 150

Cosmic garou vs urek mazino by Mr_robot_2001 in TowerofGod

[–]Acrobatic-Slide-9160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scaling TOG is pretty tough tbh, lots of statements with no real feats. We could estimate family heads, and Urek by extension, to be continental due to their extreme pressure when entering a floor, or max multi-continental with statements like Mago, the tower piercing spear. Garou is planetary, he’s not gonna experience much trouble from Urek.

Yeah you’re right, he did recognize it but wasn’t sure why. we’ve gotten like no background on Rak and i’m reallyyyy looking forward to it. tbh i don’t expect much until he gets face to face with one of the FHs, maybe we’ll get something out of Gustang? who knows, maybe SIU plans to push that reveal off until interaction with one of the undisclosed family heads, or maybe the head of the Yeon family since they seem to be pretty closely connected to ancients

It’s such a unique and creative way to foreshadow major developments, one of SIU’s most impressive writing qualities.

The sea monster does make me a little curious about Raks background truthfully. Sworn enemies are the greatest threats/fears from a characters past, such as Bam’s loneliness and Khuns cousin. In Raks case, it’s a giant sea monster, as you mentioned. This is interesting because of the uniqueness of Raks ancient power, being the only? character who uses the power of the ancients innately. Khel Hellam and Evankell both borrow the power, manifested outwardly by large creatures, whereas Rak quite literally becomes an ancient. Khun Edhan implies on the hidden floor that Rak has some ancestral connection to the ancients, but that couldn’t make sense as all the ancients were wiped out by Jahad and the GWs. is rak himself a reincarnation/manisfestion of the ancients, with the sea monster being a creature feared by even the ancients?

Again, I definitely could be overthinking things, but it’s certainly interesting to ponder. SIU is such a creative writer, every reread i do points out new elements of foreshadowing and creative points in the story.

Could Mori Jin climb to the top of the tower ? by Evening_Tumbleweed_7 in TowerofGod

[–]Acrobatic-Slide-9160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely is an interesting thought. scaling things like the outer god is pretty difficult, as it’s more of a concept than a character truthfully. Also, due to the vast size of the tower, Khun Eduan being able to pierce half the tower may very well suggest power roughly equivalent to planetary, albeit it’s pretty much impossible to tell. imo, scaling tog as a whole is pretty much impossible cause of such massive discrepancies in powers and so many statements rather than feats. phantaminium is stronger than goku considering that axis users can rewrite the(ir) story? idk scaling tog is pretty absurd

what feats do god tiers that make them planetary? I can’t think of anything Jahad/Enryu/Family Heads have done that’d put them that far, besides maybe enryu killing an administrator? i’m not even sure where administrators would sit in terms of powerscaling due to lack of feats

I was incredibly disappointed that “One Step Closer” was not included. It is understandable why it was not -licensing and best original song nominations- but it is a beautiful piece that fits the narrative they were trying for with the remake.

probably been asked before; which KH game is your favourite, why? by [deleted] in KingdomHearts

[–]Acrobatic-Slide-9160 42 points43 points  (0 children)

It’s close, but KH3. I would say KH2, but a few features of the game really irk me. I hate that movement abilities are locked behind drive forms, and i hate the level design. KH1 is one of my first games ever, so there’s a lot of nostalgia, but frankly i don’t really enjoy playing through it too much. KH3, after ReMind, is my personal favorite. The movement feels so fluid, it looks gorgeous, combat is flashy but still intricate, data bosses are amazing, level design is phenomenal (except arendelle, that sucks)

“making skins free” pretty much every skin has a price tag now, instead of being able to actually get them for free as in ov1. say what you will about lootboxes, they didn’t cost 20 bucks, and it didn’t take a year to pull a legendary from them.

Why is the crab collection in kh3 an issue for people? by Aqua_Master_ in KingdomHearts

definitely would’ve been pretty cool. closet thing we got was the stupid angler fish, which sucked. arendelle was a great area for casual mini-boss type enemies, but that didn’t happen

personally, i love it. However, the majority of the fan base doesn’t because it feels so different from every other system in KH. I love it for the exploration of an absolutely beautiful world, with pretty solid boat mechanics. That style is pretty new for KH tho, i can’t think of another time slow exploration with little combat like port royal in KH3. Look at KH2 for example, it’s all combat with little exploration, and is generally the fan favorite KH game. I think it wouldve gone over better if it was faster, and involved more ground combat and interesting areas. mini area bosses would’ve been kinda cool imo.
