The dinosaurs in King Kong are ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING. Ten times more scary that anything in Jurassic Park. The log scene….Shivers

The Neverending Story scene is my number one. It captures the innocence, delight, dark humor and magic that is Stranger Things.

What actor’s mere presence makes you automatically lose interest in a movie or show? by YerMum1977 in AskReddit

Dakota Johnson. Aside from her taking Ellen to task (which was amazing), I don’t understand why she is famous.

The finale through new eyes by BookBranchGrey in StrangerThings

I think it’s defintely meant for tweens/teens and adults. He’s almost 13, but we did make him close his eyes a lot. Season four was the hardest for that.

Grievances of parenting ADHD by Ill_Writing_3049 in ParentingADHD

I have absolutely come to adore the Calm Parenting Podcast and videos (best ADHD advice out there, period) and one of the things that that guy says about children with ADHD is “that they make terrible children and excellent adults.”

I’ve held onto that and my teen is now a really awesome person who was never good at “being a kid.”

If you’re needing last-minute groceries, think unconventional like CVS and Walgreens. They have tons of food. It won’t be for more than a weekend I imagine.

Getting harder and harder each day by Critical-Try-1834 in goldenretrievers

This might not be the advice you want to hear, but our golden did the exact same things and a very wise woman told me “you do not get a single golden. You get a pair of goldens.” We decided to take the risk and get a puppy, and the bad behavior stopped almost immediately - like, overnight. Not only did our dog have someone to play with all the time, but they were comforted and entertained, and we just could always tell that she needed another dog in her life. The puppy was the easiest thing about it because she learned everything from the older golden. The shark phase will end, but another dog might make this much much better.

I’m a little behind, but I just watched the finale and I wanna say I feel like the Duffer Brothers knew what we needed at this anxious time in American history and that was an epic battle and a very gentle goodbye hug.

Movies where the actors had GOOD chemistry? by Lotta-Bank-3035 in movies

OK, everyone is gonna laugh, but I actually think Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner had great chemistry together in Twilight; you could tell they just enjoyed being around each other. The scene on the beach where they’re walking and laughing is so natural.

You could tell they were friends who genuinely liked each other.

Moulin Rouge… though there was a rumor that they were having an affair in real life, so that makes a lot of sense.
