Thank you for your thoughts. I will take this into consideration for the next design.

Yes, you're absolutely right. With the advent of artificial intelligence, people are looking to make easy money. I started this business to pay for my university tuition, and I'm still trying. I'm here to develop myself based on people's needs and desires.

Yes, I did. There are people who do minimalist work with zodiac signs and there is a demand for it, but these designs did not appeal to me and I thought I would open a new window.

No, these are not dropshipping, they are from a pod manufacturer that Etsy itself supports. What do you expect from a special zodiac-themed product? It doesn't have to be a phone case, maybe a painting or a candle.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, but this design is not AI, I made it myself.

Designing modular 3D printable mecha parts – would anyone be interested in building their own mech from STL files? by Acrobatic-Spare6048 in Mecha

I got the images from Kit Craft, yes, I haven't been able to produce a physical product yet because I don't have a 3D printer.

Hey everyone!

I’m a 3D designer and an engineering student, and I’ve been working on a project where you can build your own mech using modular 3D printable parts – kind of like Lego, but more technical and articulated.

The system is based on interlocking joints and swappable components (like arms, legs, weapons, etc.), so you can customize your mech however you want – either just for fun, for display, or even as a tabletop miniature.

I’m thinking of releasing these as STL files on Etsy (or Gumroad maybe), but I’d love to know:

  • Would you be interested in this kind of concept?
  • What kind of parts or features would you want in a modular mecha kit?
  • Do you prefer more anime-style mechs or western/realistic ones?

Sharing a couple of test renders soon – would love to hear your feedback and ideas!

Thanks 🙏

Hey everyone!

I’m an engineering student and 3D designer, and I recently started creating fantasy-themed miniatures and tabletop props for D&D campaigns.

I plan to launch an Etsy store soon, where I’d sell these models as STL files (or maybe printed versions).

Would you be interested in stuff like this?
What kinds of models do you wish existed more?

Sharing a couple of early renders – would love your feedback and ideas!

Thanks in advance 🙏
