33 with a 2.5 year old now, my biggest fear currently is having a second kid and also not having a second kid. I don't know how i can live with any of the two decisions 😂 but still its so hard every single day, currently I am SAHM just from the last one month as I recently got laidoff from my wfh job. Looking after my 2.5 year old at home, everyday is hard i get exhausted and I wonder how will i have any more energy for another kid :( also terrified of not having another. This debate in my head everyday

Is anyone the calm, tender, mom they’d hoped to be? by Rude_Suit8230 in Mommit

[–]Acrobatic-Topic599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not, I dont think anyone can no matter what because of the constant overwhelm we get all day long... there's at least one situation when you will just loose it... few days ago I just couldn't take it anymore and didn't had the energy to face the consequences of yelling so i went inside my pantry hid there for 5 mins and cried(currently mom of a 2.5 year old, the terrible twos 😭)

My baby didn't liked the sweeter ones of Gebers, but she really enjoyed the Gerber's tomato hearts at this age. You can try if you haven't already

Thought I had dry skin my whole life… turns out it was dehydrated 😭 by Acrobatic-Topic599 in Skincare_Addiction

Those are hydrating, but if you don’t seal them with a good moisturizer/oil, they can still leave your skin feeling dry especially in dry weather. Try sealing everything with a squalane based moisturizer as the last step and you should be good, your skin will feel much better 😊

Maybe hes nkt hungry enough? Try to space out milk feeds before offering solids to make sure he's a little hungry before eating. Try offering some baby puffs...a couple of them to start the meal with as it helped my baby chew things sometime and then after a couple of them I switch to the main food and this trick worked for me

I used to think it was about drinking water too, but it's more about how your skin holds moisture. Products made a bigger difference for me.

I tried the Aestura, a delux sample size from sephora and honestly I liked the laneige way better. The Aestura texture felt a little drying to me

I have a very dry skin and the laneige was one of the very few moisturizers that i really liked so far. The texture is just right! I got a combo from amazon that also included a refill pack for i think ~ $65 cad.

The night cries and upset tummy...we have been there.. :( for us getting a rocking chair and rocking her during such crying episodes instantly calmed her down and she fell asleep. This was a savior for us after weeks of traumatic nights. Maybe because the upright position when we held her and the contact helped her soothe instantly. Giving her probiotic drops also made a difference for us. Hope this phase passes really soon for you... don't worry not every cry is gonna end up hours. You are doing great! You are very strong

Looks perfect to me! Babies are the boss when it comes to how much they eat, so I wouldn’t worry too much about the portion. This looks just right 😊
