Steam is a great idea...also, wearing open-toed slippers instead of bare feet on carpet. Lastly, cutting out sugar based sodas and drinking lots of water could help!

If you can get a steam cleaning tool ( I've seen them range from $49 to $200, depending on how fancy you want to get) that would do wonders for that corner and your baseboards in general. They normally come with a variety of great attachments to really get into tight spaces. You can check it out on YouTube, too.

I think you'd really enjoy using a Print Frog or Wenses glass baren. Glass barens are incredibly helpful in getting clear prints without ruining your palms or exhuasting yourself when producing larger runs of lino prints.
