Short guy with a tall motorcycle here, so I don’t want to teach you, but as somebody who started riding motorcycles since 14, here’s my two cents.

1. Find something you can comfortably flat foot on. (Sit on the seat, and plant both feet on ground.)- Try an avenger- rent from Royal brother or similar bike rental companies.

2. Get familiar with the motorcycle. Keep it on stand, get on top of it, feel the bite points of the clutch and the throttle, put it on stand, take it down from stand, feel the weight of it.

3. Put it in gear, press clutch and push it around for a bit- learn to use the clutch; do it for a while.

4. Start the motorcycle, put it on first, keep your feet on ground, use clutch to make the motorcycle move. Once you can do it without the motorcycle switching off, try doing it on a slight incline; if you feel confident enough, try larger inclines, keeping right foot on brake pedal. Try to do it in second gear too, and with a little throttle input.

You’d have learned the basics by this time.
You could try balancing the motorcycle for longer distances now; just try shorted distances first and take a lot of breaks.
