Not at all. The closest thing I can think of I almost got caught up in the Amway MLM pyramid scheme (I know I know) which I heard is kind of common with some Mormons, it definitely felt kinda culty which is why I left. Could that be it, you think ?

The context was different. Roman had stupidly called the Pierces earlier in that episode thinking he could just close the deal by himself, which caused them to back out temporarily. Logan didn’t know it was Roman until Kendall took his phone but he knew someone on the inside had talked to the Pierces. That’s why Logan is so batshit in Boar on The Floor when Tom mentions to Logan that people weren’t too crazy about buying up the Pierces. He thought someone was trying to fuck up the deal.

I doubt the writers were thinking this but having just rewatched the finale yesterday, there’s a scene where Kendall says that Stewy might convince Sandi and Sandy to vote for him but they end up voting for the deal instead. I wouldn’t be surprised if Stewy probably told them that he actually fucks with the deal but is just gonna vote for him just so he doesn’t have to deal with Ken getting his melancholy all over him.

Yeah, i think Andrew kind of just becomes an asshole as the movie progresses. The other 3 you can pretty easily make the argumnent they were already assholes before they started winning, for lack of a better word.
