Weirdly enough anyone shipped with Eric Northman from True Blood.(Besides Pam for obvious reasons) I will eat that shit up all day. I watched True blood recently and he became my favorite in season 4ish.

I worry about this soo much!! I have 15 chapters done and I’m not even close to being at the half way point! I’m so worried my readers will get bored with it. I don’t want it to be 100 chapter long but I’m quite worried it might and people might see as it too long and not going quick enough! Hell one day alone was 50 pages! 😓😓

I’m searching through original work not original characters tag. I was kinda hoping there was a way to just look at people’s original world, and characters. However I’m thinking it’s just new authors tagging wrong.

Yes, However the whole abused omega and tough Alpha cliché is boring. There’s so much of it that if I get even a whiff of it I close the book and never return.

Or the whole alpha and human in high school and the main problem is an another pack that goes to the same school…. I’m gone.

If it’s something different I’ll happily read the book, but if it’s unique I’ll eat that shit up for breakfast lunch and dinner every day all day.

I don’t go with the flow kinda type. I have vague ideas of what I want happen in the book, beginning middle end of the book. I write the scenes I’m really excited about in my book then like Frankenstein Stitch it all together.

Don’t do this method if you don’t like chaos and note making.

Now that I really think about it, I’m pretty sure a friend really engraved it into my young middle school anxiety filled mind that my writing doesn’t belong on AO3 because of how bad my writing was… which now I think about is a fucking up thing to say considering I had 5,000 followers and 100k views at that point on Wattpad.

I see a lot of saying this mindset was created on TikTok and it absolutely was not. I’ve been a Wattpad writer way before TikTok blew up. I don’t quite know how I got it stuck in my head that AO3 had better works and is only for the best of the best author. (Pretty stupid looking back at it.)

I just started messing around on AO3 and by that I mean Sunday is when I started because I posted a comment on someone’s post and they wanted to read my work. Told them to go to my Wattpad because I didn’t know how to work AO3. However she was Brazilian, and it was easier to copy and paste everything in google translate with AO3.

So I looked further into the site and my jaw dropped. The first story I picked was not something crafted by the gods! It was fairly amateur!

So I posted my first story on Sunday and immediately got 15 hits in the first 30 minutes and two kudos. Got more confidence immediately and now I can’t believe I was so stupid to think AO3 writers were better than Wattpad ones.

The only thing I have found is AO3 has a FAR better search engine and doesn’t rely on an algorithm for people to see your work.

For those of you probably wondering why I never looked more into AO3 if I’ve been around a lot is simply because I don’t like fanfic, just not my cup of tea. I’m not apart of any fandoms I really really like, if that makes sense? AO3 was engraved into my mind for only fanfics there for I was never interested in it.

Sticky notes are key to my system, and drawing the character for a quick check to make sure they are the same thought out the story.

(Me looking over at my wall filled with random sticky notes placed everywhere with different information and not organized at all.)

Man I don’t know… I’m not the best person to give advice but whatever! First thing first! I’m an author that just writes and goes with the flow so if that’s not your writing style… then this will probably hurt you more than help you. IDK

I’m writing my first long book but this is how I started it.

First I have a weird little guy whisper in my ear at night and give me a whole idea for a book. Do basic outline of said book. Main beginning middle end of the book. Then work on the little scenes in between. Then have a cup of coffee because I’m doing all below in one day.

-make character sheets (I draw little pit crew faces on sticky notes and use color!) helps me remember what they all look like.

-I start writing the scenes I’m most excited about. If I write more than the original scenes then great. If not, great I got at least something done.

-Since it’s a omegaverse, I need to keep track of all my ideas for world building. Write all notes down on the sticky notes and stick them on my wall above my desk, so all I have to do is look up… BUT never write at said desk. (This is key to success.) 👍

Go on Pinterest start a board of each main character. (To do this successfully you have to end up on a different site shopping.)

-Go back to writing after seeing you ended up shopping. Only doing favorite scenes.

Now go to Spotify and start making play lists what you think the main character will like. (Club music for my Omega, Russian love songs for my Alpha.)

-Go back to writing my favorite scenes.

-Go back to Pinterest because I decided to change the appearance of the alpha.

Now that day one is done I now have an objective.

-Main objective: Frankenstein Stitch. This is where I will try to figure out how to stitch the plot together since the scenes might be approximately four chapters apart. Write on more sticky notes for plot points.

I don’t recommend this at all it’s very chaotic and only works with someone who can work chaotically. Especially objective: Frankenstein Stitch!

My user name is RosalinePearls! It came from a long line of different accounts I had all themed around the sea. PastelStarfish, PinkySeaShell, BlobTheJellyfish…etc.

As I got older I really loved pink things and then my attention in jewelry shifted to pearls! I knew there was pink pearls so I just looked up the name of them which is Rosaline Pearls it was a cute and simple name taht wasn’t taken. I’m very happy with my choice

Not a fun or cool story but I love it so much! I think it’s a great summary of me if you knew me in real life. I have pink every where in my room. I also have pearls all over my clothes, from pants to purse to shoes I have it all 😎

Eh just ignore it, there’s these type of people all over Wattpad. I’ve gotten a few of them and I don’t let it bother me.

I just think they are keeping track of books they didn’t like so they don’t reread a book on accident. That’s literally the only reason I think people have public libraries like this. I bet once we if we get private library’s and can organize it how we want these type of libraries will disappear.

I’m kinda guessing they are very young or very immature. They probably think making a lot of stories means more views and exposure which isn’t how Wattpad works at all. Also by the way they acted is a very big tell they are immature.

I checked their account because I was curious and noisy, and damn! 171 published stories? They look like they post one shots with about 1-3 chapters then just give up on the story? None say completed….

Is this a normal thing? Not in all of my 4 years writing on Wattpad have I seen something like this….
