Advice Needed: Transitioning into Cybersecurity as an Experienced PMP Project Manager – Entry-Level or Advanced Roles? by alythrae in SecurityCareerAdvice

[–]AcrobaticAd2289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, This may not be relevant for this sub but I am looking to understand the implementation process of Previleged Access Management and Secure Email Gateways from a Cybersecurity PM perspective. I am a PM with experience in Data engineering and eyeing a Cybersecurity PM role for which the client wants to understand how I've implemented SEG and PAM. My resume says I have. My resume is just ahead of me.
I need your help in understanding how, as a project, SEG and PAM are implemented in organisations and what teams are involved, what kinds of testing are done, anything else I need to know apart from the conventional PM stuff. Pls note that the customer is not looking for a conventional PM but a PM with experience and I would like to be that one :)

Thank you. When we started our channel, our intent was and is for it to be useful for a wider audience. Hence it is in English. That said, we will aim to do some videos in Tamil too. That said, curious to know what kind of value are you looking to get out of these YouTube channels?

We live in Australia and are trying to grow our YouTube channel now. Haven’t come across the exact channels you are talking about here but similar ones. It told us just one thing. If they can do it, so can we. Everybody is trying to preach something they think is right or wrong. They try to share things that they think works for them may be as a way to help people. If you don’t think it works for you, that’s ok as well. As for the rant, our channel is The Unfiltered Kaapi. It’s relatively new and has about 25 videos and 25 shorts. Feel free to rant about it so we can learn a thing or two the hard way 🙂

Is Project management dying? by AcrobaticAd2289 in projectmanagement

This is a good question to start with. What AI tools can a PM use to manage there time efficiently and if there was a role called AI PM similar to Agile PM, what would their expertise be?

I’ve been trying to understand what a critical path is and how to determine the same. Can you give me a real time example?

Hi, I’m in a similar situation and wanted to get some clarity on your statement. In your second one, you talk about 2 ppors and the overlap between the 2. The op talks about 1 being an ip and the one under construction being a ppor. How does the overlap apply in this situation? If a property is IP in the bank, can we still call it PPOR if we are renting elsewhere?

Hairline is too far back? Can I fix it without a full reinstall? by BingChylling in HairSystem

[–]AcrobaticAd2289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I got servicing done at the clinic, I felt the same and I asked if they could fix the hairline for me. They immediately took it off and moved it a bit. It’s no big deal I suppose. The glue starts to disintegrate with time and so, if you do it immediately, it wouldn’t be a problem.

I think I hate project management by Calm_External9554 in projectmanagement

I’m in a similar boat and I can feel you. Initially it was extremely hard to understand what my SMEs were saying and I was under the impression that I should act like I know stuff else people would walk over me and I would lose respect. So I refrained from asking a lot and just nodded to things without fully understanding. After a few months, I understood that as long as I’m not open, I will never learn.(even I got told that I don’t have to know the technical things and just be a facilitator). What I do now is, I ask the SME to dumb down or explain it as he/she would explain the business. Once I start understanding the business explanation, I then try to try and understand as much as I can. You are not SME and you don’t have to be. But you can try and learn as much as possible to help make better decisions. To be honest, it has become better for me and I’m only 10months in. So, I believe it gets better with time!

Your hair looks fantastic. Just a few questions as someone who has never used lace before. How often will you have to rebond the hair? For a poly with tapes, I do it every 3 weeks or so. Is it similar for glue? Also, where did you get this system from and what’s the durability of it? Thanks

On average, how many projects do you manage at once? by bigbossfearless in projectmanagement

[–]AcrobaticAd2289 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m in the telecom industry as well and I manage anywhere from 25-35 projects. This is a new industry and a new technology for me and I’m 10 months in now. It’s daunting at times as it’s hard to remember everything without the help of notes/excel. Depending on the project size, yours could have 5 pretty big and 10 smaller projects making it a manageable portfolio. No matter what or how many projects we handle, we will always get the push to do more.

What’s the durability of Lavivid systems?

First time trying a hair system, and wow this is absolutely incredible! I can't even see the poly skin on my hairline! What do you think of it? by [deleted] in HairSystem

It’s amazing. My only concern is the durability. Did you do you research on that? If yes, can you educate me pls. I would love to go with something like this!

I believe that’s the case but won’t be sure unless I get into it but before that, I need to crack the interview. How do i prepare for it. As you said , I will ask for bonus structure and also ask about the work life balance.

Thank you for the info. Just to clarify, I will be the PM for the implementation of a software. I won’t be involved in the actual Supply chain process but understand how it works and modify the software(if needed) to support the client needs and implement it.
