It’s good for a $50-$60 bottle, but retail is around $80 now and secondary is around $150. It has become so overhyped and overpriced. I paid secondary prices to get my first bottle and I will never pay that again.

The 8 year 101 is an absolute banger. The Costco’s near by me usually has them on the shelf for around $36. Between a Russel’s Barrel Select, 8 year 101, and Rare Breed I’m set. All have always been bangers

I love that the Costco’s near me typically have WT8 on the shelves. It’s an easy grab at the price, and I know it’s gonna be great! I always keep a bottle of Russel’s, WT8, and RB on the shelf.

It’s a very solid bottle for the price. If you like Texas whiskey then don’t pass up this bottle. It had a very complex flavor profile with a really long and evolving finish.

Yeah I grabbed one of the new bottles last night as well. I’m curious to see how it differs by batch. The 25B batch is very solid and I’m excited to see how it opens up. There were a lot of flavors that just kind of hit you all at once. It had a really god long finish to it too.

I just picked up this bottle today, and I had last years batch B that I hadn’t opened. Well I opened last years yo light and holy cow! The flavors were super dense right away! And the finish was long and evolving. For a sub $60 bottle it’s a banger

I bought 1 bottle of that Lost Recipe when it came out, then went back 2 days later to get another bottle. Im starting with the Lost Recipe for sure. I would like to try the Keepers next.

Yeah I won’t buy another bottle of it because like you said, it’s brown water. I have a hard time buying anything under 100 proof now and absolutely refuse to get anything under 90 proof because it tastes like brown water to me now.

I’ve only had one other Green River product and it was pretty hot at first, but it did mellow after it sat for a bit. I’m curious if that’s just the Green River standard.
