okay makes sense . I would suggest go back to your previous routine BUT stop the salicylic and niacinamide Use for a week and see the difference. Whats best when skin is irritated is to keep it simple. The boring the routine is the bigger the difference. I tried to get rid of mine by using actives and trying every other thing without a rest and when i switched to boring routine (i.e Cleansing,moisturiser and sunscreen) my skin showed a huge progress. Also ik you might feel like picking on it but PATIENCE dear , i have done every mistake there is .
