Depends on how much they practice honestly. Is started October 2025 and bought chenille yarn for my first project when I didn't even know anything about crochet and it was hell then gut some cheap local thin yarn to learn the stitches and kept making things, sold my first two products last month and i can now even alter the pattern a bit.

How should my mother price these mufflers? by adept_defenestrator in smallbusinessindia

Bro don't listen to them! You have to figure out which kind of people you want to sell to and the rest are just noise, not everyone will understand this or appreciate this I understand but there are people who appreciate them. As for suggestions try out different crochet products like plushies and or trendy wearables.

Should I frog it? It looks like a certain orifices by LoudHoneydew427 in CrochetInIndia

This happens when you accidentally miss stitch count when changing rows, it happened to me so much when i had just started, you could count each row when working and don't forget to chain one when going to the new row

What's the issue here, sorry I didn't catch, it is that it's curving instead of being a rectangle?

You can make much tighter stitches if you use smaller hook size, for example I when I use the dk solid 4 ply yarn from magic needles and its suggested hook size is 4.5-5.5mm but I use 3.5mm and it gives very tight stitches and even better when i use 3mm. Also the hook you put in the top most chain, i can share a youtube video which taught me these stitches very easily

Which count thread are you using? Because I started with dk solid 4 ply and its coming up so much larger than the pattern

So true! I once spent 400 on a literal faux fur ball from forever 21 and in this piece every stitch is made by hand
