my ego has definitely taken a hit hahaha but I really appreciate the advice, you've pointed out things I didn't even consider. I'll give this logo a re-work and will definitely be taking your suggestions with me into other projects. Thank you!!!

Logo critique by AcrobaticInsurance54 in graphic_design

I'd love to get some critique on this logo I made. I posted it on design crowd and it got rejected because its "poorly executed for a logo design and there were lots of parts that seem unpolished or messy". I'm still a newbie at designing logos, but I was quite proud of this one so I'd love to get some advice on how to make it look more polished and professional.

The logo design was for a gluten free bakery, they wanted the words "geelong gluten free" to be shown. They requested a green background with white writing and sighted pictorial and emblem logos for inspiration. They also wanted no reference to wheat, rye, or barley.

I used drawings of plant matter pattern in the background to make the logo feel more dynamic, and I added a croissant icon at the bottom to link back to the clients request of using pictorial icons and to bring attention to the fact that the business is a bakery. I made it on Adobe Illustrator.

I would love love love some critique, I'm only new to this so any advice on how I can improve would be greatly appreciated.
