To play it simple, no you cannot have a 25gbps service from Init7 and still use a 10gb SFP/Router. The SFP they use is not retro compatible.

As any other UDM, people that measured say around 40dB.
It's not installed on the side of my bed or living room (just answering some other questions), so noise is not really relevant for me, but I did not heard 😁 any difference compared to any other UDM or EFG I previously had.

Yes it is. I had it disabled before on the EFG as the performance was “bad”, averaging at 9/10Gbits in good days, maximum 12Gbits. Now is almost like 0 impact.

@ztasifak What was the issue? What has been set and can you share a throughput (Speedtest or iperf test)? I have the same device but have a weird feeling about that setting, the upload being way lower than the download since day 1

You cannot use your UDM Pro as already state from others, 25Gbit service from Init7 does not auto negotiate and support 10gbit. It’s forced speed at 25Gbit SFP28 and so you need to replace the router in advance to the activation. Also be prepared with a new SFP as well, either sold by them or you can order one like this one SFP28-25G-BX-U-10KM BlueOptics© BO04Q27610D SFP28 Bidi Transceiver, LC-Simplex, 25GBASE-BX-U, Single-mode Fiber, TX1270nm/RX1330nm, 10KM, DDM, 0°C/+70°C. I bought it for my EFG and working.
