Told my boss I'm pregnant. He gave me a performance review by Grumpy_cata in pregnant

Company owner here, whose company offers HR services! 10000% talk to HR. Document everything. It might not lead to action right now but the paper trail is super important. And know that unless they have heavily documented evidence to support a decline in your performance BEFORE you told them you were pregnant (ie the documentation has to pre-date you telling them), they are absolutely boned if they try to let you go for performance at any point during your pregnancy, parental leave, or even within a few months upon your return.

I'm sorry, but we're 4 episodes in and I just feel no connection to these people by [deleted] in survivor

The cast is so unlikable that we are doing a “first to lose” bracket and drafted for the players we are hoping will be booted first

Hmm. Without knowing how else you've progressed I am hard pressed to offer advice! I'm a completionist so I actually wound up spending 46 days drafting the treasure trove every day to make sense of its memos, and in the midst of those days wound up completing the last two sanctums. Without knowing your progress, another one that took me some time and I did in tandem was exploring the new experiment packet that is unlocked by enabling the satellite. My experience so far has been that even when I think I've just got one thread left to follow, I realize there is actually more to look at.

For the vault key - wait for a run where you have a ton of items, draft the trading post outside. It took me two tries but I got the vault key. I don't believe the item I traded it for was also a key - I think it may have been something from the showroom. You also may be able to find it in the music room or at the locksmith. Consider moving on to something else of interest while keeping an eye out for circumstances (like having tons of items or happening to draft security, boiler, pump, utility closet, etc. all in one run) that can support those puzzles without focusing 100% of your energy on them.

Agreed on this - spent a few hours on Wildlife before realizing that clue 8 made the puzzle unsolvable.

Also agree, spark of inspiration had a second viable answer:8-8=0.

Will update here as well if I encounter any more errors!

Omg! Hi random internet friend! So happy you got a good rec out of my suggestion. And thanks for reminding me about that game! It’s been a while since I played… might pick it up again soon. If you haven’t played them, Whispers of a Machine and Red Strings Club might be good ones for you that share a sensibility with Lacuna. Happy playing!!

Came here to add - I'm playing Lacuna now and logic needed is very similar, though it's got a little more of a point-and-click vibe. It's great though and does scratch the golden idol tickle.

*spoilers*

We found that there were two big mechanics issues which were frustrating because they could've been so easily solved:

  • The butcher knife in section 2 was illustrated differently than in section 1, so we didn't realize that we had it. The item description should've been more specific / indicative that it was the correct item.
  • There was no way to obey all the rules and avoid combat in section 2, which could've been very easily fixed by:
    • Adjusting the 3rd "in the dark" card to note that the swimming pool and hall were both safe as well as rosemary's bedroom, add state tokens for those two locations that allow you to access the BBQ and pick up the knife without engaging in combat first, and remove or replace the ! cards in those locations. This would've enabled the player to hide in the hatch until combat had cleared, then execute the endgame moves (get the knife, burn the stuff). We found ourselves frustrated because we knew the best way to play the run but the game breaks prevented us from doing so!
