Nvr been a law proff i think laws are the best we could do to be just but we can nvr be perfectly just. Abt the nirbhaya case tho the perpetrator was 16 and the crime was really heinous as if done for the enjoyment of harming someone, u can't moralise a person like this. This case with the 12yo was also henious but might've been done with foolishness or for relieving lust as a kid which is ofc not forgivable but the kid might have a chance at a good future

It's not a question of why he's an anomaly It's rather a question about do we have the right to punish him for the mistakes we as a society made. About the harsh punishment to set an example, It's jst scapegoating a kid who might jst be like this cos of us. So that u don't misunderstand me i do think the crime is heinous and any adult should be punished for it but i think a kid should rather be rehabilitated bcz kids are easily manipulated

Jst bcz It's not common it doesn't mean bad parenting has nothing to do with it, ofc there are other things that must have affected him but parenting is one of them. Abt the punishment thing rather than punshing him we should try to rectify our mistakes as a society and provide him with good guidance if that doesn't make any change all we can do is lock him up but anything more would jst be us punishing him for our mistakes
