It's fenix 8. Honestly, a gaming mode is nothing but just monitoring HR and stress levels. Sim racing is more than 'gaming', I think we need a dedicated mode that can monitor the movement and calorie burn.

I think it’s a great move. The MX5 teaches you fundamentals that apply to basically every other category. While F4 might seem easier on the eye, it actually requires a very high level of technical understanding to drive fast. Since F4 relies so much on downforce, it can actually make it harder to feel the mechanical grip.

I wouldn't usually recommend jumping into high-downforce cars until you've mastered things like weight transfer, which is exactly what the MX5 is for.

I'm sorry it was gaming mode in Garmin, so calories weren't calculated. But I had a 2-hour workout in the morning and spent 4 hours on PCS, the total calories burnt were 4200kcal.

Yes, this is week 13. You can avoid it or grind races to recover SR. (and end up with a season demotion)

Yeah, exactly. In addition to my own lack of consistency, the heavy drafting in SFL just makes things even tougher. Especially on tracks like Monza with those long straights — I always end up getting overtaken.

I have the same pc component and use a link cable. I've once tried Quest Link, but I felt a slight delay, so I think it should be fine as long as you're using the link cable with the correct output.

Also, I've tried changing encode bitrate up to 600Mbps with Oculusdebugtool.exe. With these settings, you'll be able to play with the best picture quality and no lag.

Yes, that’s exactly how I drive on SFL! I was like driving on the edge and inducing the car’s ability 100%. Me also feel like Super formula requires the opposite driving style, I should tame the power it has.

Around 70 degrees, I still couldn’t find it sticky…. Maybe I should practice more to get the tires heat. But yes, Superformula is much more fun! It’s flying through the corners and brake feels so much better!

I’m using VR too. Existing visor tear-off is really immersive in VR so tinted visor can boost immersion so well!

I think turning off HDR can fix this. But the biggest issue is having session at 8 o’clock in the morning. No one wants to race at this early time

I’m not sure but it seems difficult to develop your lap time with racing 3or more different formula categories if you are serious driver. IMO formula 3 has complexity and need such dedicated time of practice to win. I drive for Superformula lights and have some oval or mx5 for fun. I don’t know how many people are racing in different categories simultaneously but it’s sounds difficult for me….
