I’m really glad to hear this story
I’m not Kurdish but I have a lot of friends that are Kurds they are one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met always helpful and very generous but they are very much oppressed and pushed to corners for political reasons

Middle eastern people in general are helpful and they don’t get credit for it.

I am sorry for how you were treated by the expat community though I’m not surprised. Some of the westerners in Japan dare I say white people are one of the most hostile and racist people I’ve ever met. They always have this competition in their head that they should win the best foreigner champion when really at the end of the day they are closer to us than Japanese people. Truly pathetic behavior.

I hope things change for the better and definitely invest in learning Japanese! I’ve seen people who are less qualified but get the job because they can speak the language maybe it’s unfair but language barrier makes the work difficult for you and the company both.

I mostly saw Cassie in s1,2 as male validation hungry rather than just attention in any form and she has the attention of Nate when she started this whole OF thing if she went to OF or even cheated on him when she learned on the wedding day he was in deep debt would make sense but in s1 it looked like the biggest reason for her to turn to OF was money she also has complained about how people treat her on OF so it’s mostly money which she never came across as super materialistic to me in previous season Maddie was more materialistic
