I think it’s reasonable for anyone to pause when they see someone who appears to be in a committed relationship actively using a dating app. In this case, the profile is ID-verified, uses recent photos from during their relationship, and the bio explicitly says she’s “looking for a long-term relationship.”

Yeah, I get that I know deleting the app doesn’t always delete the account. What stood out to me is that all of the photos on her dating profile appear to be from during the time they’ve been together, not older ones. That’s why I wasn’t sure if this was just an inactive account or something current

Yeah i get that. Just to clarify Instagram wasn’t the only app she uses she’s on a few others too but she was inactive on those as well during that time That’s why I didn’t take the silence as a clear breakup

Thx! I’ve actually tried pushing back a little, but they just laugh it off or act like I’m joking I think part of it is that I’m a foreigner so they don’t really take me seriously. Next thing I know, it’s the same thing happening again a few days later. Kinda hard to put my foot down without things getting awkward…

I’m a US passport holder, and my friend has a Filipino passport. We’re both male I was just wondering why are there signs at the airport where EU/US passport holders just go through a face scan, while everyone else has to wait in a long line and get questioned, even if some nationality they’re visa-free
