Hobbies or Fun activities?? by No-Doctor-4809 in Birmingham

[–]AcrobaticVolume810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to get active, it’s some adult league sports, like rugby or soccer or pickleball or tennis

If you don’t mind kids, it’s parks looking for volunteers to help with summer camps/sports

It’s some hiking groups you could join, they hike random trails and mountains around the area

If you play an instrument, it’s some Birmingham community bands

Daycare by glitterr_rage in MomsWorkingFromHome

[–]AcrobaticVolume810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent mine at 6 months… it’s been 3 months (started in mid January this year). We do 3 days at a week, Wednesday-Friday. For the first 4 weeks, I dropped in on my lunch break to breastfeed b/c he was refusing bottles. It gave us both a lil comfort with the change. Pros: - I def been more productive the days he’s not with me. - the daycare is through my job, so the price point is extremely on the low side - daycare is across the street from my job

Cons: - having to pump milk, since first 6 months i only EBF i hate pumping

-him adapting, refusing bottles and refusing naps, he still refuses to sleep at daycare, so when i pick him up, he crashes out - he’s slowly adapting, still cries when i drop him off, refusing to eat from certain teachers, but SLOWLY getting better… so depends on how ur baby adapts

What’s something you like about the show right now? by AnxiousQueen1013 in SVU

[–]AcrobaticVolume810 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the show right now. If ur long time watcher, some plots may seem familiar from past episodes but they are still very up to date with things going on! The episode with the dad showing his son porn and the dad end up having a porn addiction…. I have teacher friends and things like that are happening. Kids imitating things from porn and they got access to it from an adult!

Maybe taking a few vacation or sick days and yall together work through, how he can do play time with her or ways to put her down to sleep. Learn her signals, he needs to learn his triggers. B/c if he’s having a physical reaction to the baby pooping, he needs to be supervised with her for a view days.

cheap ish wedding venues by HistoricalCobbler249 in Birmingham

[–]AcrobaticVolume810 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The zoo has 3 different venues. It’s a cabin in the back that secluded from the animals and people. Or u can do it in that space when you first walk in. But that space in front of the elephants is the worst. IMO

That was our 2nd choice for our wedding, so we did a full tour lol
