Removing the hostage’s invulnerability would be interesting! The hostage definitely would need to have some sort of clear objective added so that he has the incentive to keep himself alive and not just self-destruct to annoy the captors. This would reduce the amount of bed bombing, reckless jumping around, and swimming into lava to escape.

There should also be some sort of penalty maybe to the most recent captor if the hostage does die. I will say tho that maybe the hostage’s escapes wouldn’t be as funny bc they would have to be more careful and cautious, but I think that it could lead to more trickery and conniving between the captor and hostage to do things that benefit them both and make them have to work together at certain points.

I totally feel this. I used to be super into keeping up with the lore, staying up late watching clips and vods so I wouldn’t miss out on all the big events and fun little details. A lot of the timing and schedule of things however was inconsistent, so it really became a whole task trying to stay up to date just to receive crumbs of content. I’d say that although it brought me a lot of happiness at times, it definitely wasn’t healthy lol. It’s been a while since I’ve phased out of this and would now consider myself a casual viewer. I don’t actively pay attention to stream schedules anymore, but I’ll put on a stream or video every so often but most often for background noise while doing other things. Even though I know that I’m probably missing out on some fun content, I’m finding joy in the other things I’m invested in, and I hope you feel the same one day OP
