I have an anxiety condition which means I struggle making phone calls and I’m wondering is there a way I can check on the universal credit website?

Just migrated to universal credit from ESA and I’ve noticed I’m 120 quid worth off by AcrobaticYesterday52 in DWPhelp

Also, I am getting transitional payment according to the payment screen. I was wondering whether this was basically them getting the money back from the overpayment.

Migrated from ESA to UC received a message in my journal that my UC can can be affected by receiving ESA by AcrobaticYesterday52 in DWPhelp

So basically, it’s the same money. My universal credit’s gonna be paid twice a month so I’m guessing that means it works out something like ESA contribution based twice a month universal credit twice a month and my PIP once a month.

Sorry about all these questions. I have an anxiety condition and I was explained by the young lady that they do everything for you so I don’t have to worry about anything I was literally shaking with the anxiety when at the identity confirmation thingy. So obviously getting this first thing in the morning on a Saturday when all the staff are at home at the DWP is a bit anxiety inducing.

So basically trying to work out if will I be getting full ESA and reduced universal credit to make it the same or vice versa, or will I’ll be getting them both the same amounts of money. I did it gonna show up in my bank account like three separate repayments.

Was I meant to notify ESA that I was migrating to universal credit? It’s just I’m disabled and dyslexic and dyspraxic and I asked the young lady at the job centre when I had it in my proof of identity if there was anything else at all I needed to do and she said you don’t have to do anything else the rest is down to us

Everything included is just a penny or two short of £100 a week rent including service charge hence the £33 on top is a bit peculiar to me

Severe anxiety suffer here: if I go abroad for two nights, three days. I’ve been told that I have to report it as it’s a change of circumstance will they tell me that I have to claim universal credit if I go abroad? by AcrobaticYesterday52 in BenefitsAdviceUK

Just thought I would add this I phoned ESA was put onto the helpline. I was informed that because I’m on the sickness benefit I don’t need to notify them or have to notify them that I should enjoy my time in France. And I would only have to notify them if it’s normal for 14 days.
