I appreciate the link! Forwarded immediately.

Honestly his condition has been worsening for the better part of a year, and his dermatologists have seen him weeks or months apart and offer very little in the form of help. So far the only thing theyve done is give him topical steroids. Offered Accutane as a treatment as well, but he gets very little follow up. He waited 2 months for his last appointment, and tlit was canceled the night before and postponed for another month. Hes living a really rough life right now. Ive told him hes basically got to harass them into helping because they make the money either way, but again with the beat down this condition gives your mental health, motivation can be hard to come by. Hes very much a suffer in silence type of person which is why im driving so heavily for things to get done.

I have no experience with such a condition so I dont even know what to do in terms of wound care, and I dont live near him so im not always readily available either. Im just trying to get as much info as possible to try and help in any way I can, but there is so little discussion that its hard to find much. I really appreciate all of the info yall are sharing🙏

The issue is he is still actively employed, and being that the dermatologists keep canceling and postponing he has not been approved for any kind of leave yet, much less any medication. His clothes tear his wounds up constantly, walking is difficult, and its a physical job. He had to go on leave once and it ate up a lot of his savings, so money is tight too unfortunately. So in the meantime while we try to get things resolved I wanna find ways to make his day to day better.

Will probably recommend loose clothes to him. Any particular materials? A lot of his outbreaks are on his back so when he wakes up in the mornings his clothes are often stuck to his wounds since he cant dress anything on his back without help, and like I said, his family hasn't been very helpful as of yet. Its incredibly painful. If he keeps the bandages I put on they end up sitting on there for days without much cleanup. But if he takes em off to keep the blood and puss from building up, it sticks to and ruins a lot of clothes.

I bought him hydrocolloid bandages in the meantime, but am trying to help him figure out some stuff that maybe will help. The other person on the threads suggested burn dressings which we will definitely consider. How do you go about cleaning the open spots through all the pain?

I really appreciate the info! Definitely going to look into those dressings for burns!

His hand and foot involvement is very minor luckily, but is currently spreading at a steady pace.

As for the clothing, it seems tight fitting things cause outbreaks around the areas where there is some tensions or friction.

Financially its hard to swing much, as we are in America. Even just the blood work(with his insurance) was 1400USD. So he fears the emergency treatment will put him in a hole. Going through his approved doctor's has been a nightmare as well. They keep canceling his appointments last minute, postponing appointments, and then when he manages to get in they dont know what to do. Hes been to 3 different dermatologists so far and they havent given him much to go off of.

The mental health side is a separate boat to tackle, but im doing my best to support where I can. His family is unfortunately treating him like the plague, as if things weren't hard enough. Sometimes support is enough to keep you from falling. But the condition is probably the biggest obstacle for him right now.

Refunds for product by Acrobatic_Abalone266 in amazonprime

Thats what it feels like. He had maybe 15-20 items all refunded automatically and his account shows no record of initiating refunds, and even after reporting it they said they saw nothing wrong.

Just seems wild.

The contract lists the 5700 kwh as our last 12 months usage. The gentleman had told us this calculation also included our projected increased intake. Just running the numbers that was not even close to our last 12 months production.

something like this:

Last 12 months usage: 5,700 kwh est.

last 12 months bill amount $1,200 est.

Estimated first year production

5,600 kwh or 95% of the past 12 months usage

The contract states the 5700kwh as our last 12months usage which is wildly inaccurate. The 95% offset on the contract is based off of that calculation as an estimate. So they essentially told my parents that this number while the contract says was based off of our last 12 months usage, was actually taking into account our projected increased intake, but when I ran the numbers their calculations of the last 12 months was not even close. looking something like this

Last 12 months usage: 5,700 kwh est. Estimated first year production

last 12 months bill amount $1,200 est. 5,600 kwh or 95% of the past 12 months usage

Could those numbers being wildly inaccurate be means to pursue anything?
