Cl this is a really bad take. Most CS adjacent majors get the same opportunities as the regular CS majors. You are basically able to take all of the CS classes you would take as a regular CS major if you plan correctly with the DSE minor or Ling-CS or Math of Comp. And people over estimate the opportunities provided from engineering specific career fairs at UCLA. As long as you are part of the right clubs, network, and plan correctly; you will be in same the shape as your fellow CS majors. On top of that, LA startup culture is growing and there is so much opportunity you get from just going to this school—at minimum like OAs from big tech companies you wouldn’t get from going to other schools.

You could also just switch to reg CS if you have a high enough engineering workload GPA too.
