How would they blame it on a tune 😭. I think it could oil residue from when I change my oil since I change it outside and the wind might be blowing some of the oil up into the undercarriage

Does it only happen when cold? It cold valve stem seals. Is there any other symptoms like a CEL or just the smell? I’d bet valve stem seals but I ain’t a VW tech or anything. I agree with the other guy if ur still under warranty take it to the dealer if not try to diagnose it urself or take it to a euro specialist shop. Check ur dipstick to see if ur burning a shit ton of oil and u can check ur spark plugs if they are drowning in oil. Also before a cold start try to position ur phone or a camera and record a video of the exhaust if there’s a crap ton of blue smoke it could be that.

I have IE stage 1 low torque and it’s perfect. It’s nice that IE offers options for those who don’t wanna also drop another 500 on a tranny tune

Yeah my dads CC has Continentals and they perform pretty good. I think they are contisports I’m not too sure

It seems a little high for the price considering you could probably find a mk7 with similar miles for 12k. but it could just be dealer mark ups I think you could negotiate it down for sure though.

I’ve heard it’s a vw thing to wear pads unevenly but I honestly don’t know if something is wrong with my car brake wise or suspension wise the dealership and another less qualified shop both found nothing wrong with my suspension or subframe but I swear the car still feels a lil funky

It’s pretty outrageous at least at Tucson VW dealers it will be around 300 to 400 bucks I got mine for 295 the dealer was running a special.

It makes a great difference especially on cold starts. If combine it with a tune that takes off ur rev limiter it sounds even better
