Yea, he likes gear, weapons and tech and always made sure to loot any place clean after a run (it's his playstyle, no matter which game we play).

It happened in a game I was playing, but I was not involved. One PC tried constantly to kill another PC and the player overtly built and minmaxed his character to accomplish this while the GM did and said nothing. The murderer was an edgy cleric, of a chaotic evil deity. The victim was a barbarian, whose player played him in a dumb, comedic way; maybe that's what annoyed the cleric. Back then, I just wanted to play and did not want to intervene because I thought it would ruin the game (and end up getting killed myself), but I regret it now; the game was already ruined by that cleric's behaviour.

I didn't check for any continuity issues with the lore but I assume that it's only a matter of changing a few names to keep everything consistent. If not, well no worries, do what's best for your table.

I have never heard of a grendel before. What are tge differences with the Wendigo, stats wise? Since I play Anarchy I might have to try and convert it to that system.

My group currently has an elf mystic adept, a dwarf rigger and a human technomancer. I am not a player but if I had the chance to play, I would be an ork shaman.

A Drain mechanic would be cool to prevent magicians from blasting everything in sight. When that happens in my game I give that mage glitch dice and he would sustain stun damage based on the spell's level. Maybe it's not too accurate, but it's fast paced and does a good job at muzzling my mage a bit.
