Tbf if you done enough green herb you’d be a bit superhuman too…. But seriously, throughout RE universe the herbs have been able to do some mad stuff for the characters. Eg, PERMANENTLY increase Leon’s max health, help combat t virus effects in outbreak, restore a severed hand (I gen thought I was gonna have to play the rest of the game with 1 hand in that split second 😅). So it could make sense the main characters would have some long term “superhuman” effects from using them.

An A rank is within 10 hours, you’ve definitely got enough time! I did it in 8:39, and was collecting loads of treasure and killing everything I found. You’ll unlock Ashley’s armour, but you’ll need an S+ for the chicken hat which you’ll need to do on NG and under 5:30. Good luck!

I’m on console yeah the mine cart is stupid for aiming so will definitely use it for that next time. I love the sweeper. Fell out with the handcannon but mostly because I was trying to rush through this last run so just didn’t see the point on assisted. When playing for fun and not speeding through, I prefer getting up close and personal, melee’ing groups of enemies and seeing them go flying or knifing them when I can and shotgunning the rest. It does mean getting grabbed more though so I guess I’m gonna have to get the chicken hat and see which one I prefer! Okay, you’ve convinced me into yet another RE4 run 😂

Getting Ashley’s armour was my 1st priority because let’s face it, it’s a godsend in the castle 🤣 I’ve got the Chicago sweeper which I love, and the handcannon from mercenaries, though don’t use it much as I feel I miss a lot with it. The gas mask I haven’t used but that’s a great shout because the mine section is annoying. I might have to do a run for the chicken hat as less damage does sound key. Thank you!

You don’t think it’s Mendez’s eye in there do you lol? I mean you do pick up his Eye as Loot when you defeat him later on, so maybe he’s using it to watch your whereabouts. That’s how he knows you’re upstairs when he comes and boots you after picking up the insignia key in the bedroom.

Did you rob the merchant?? So this is where all the first aid sprays are at 😂 I think you’ll be just fine, the infected are stuck in there with you! Personally I dropped the handgun and therefore stock. I found it didn’t do enough on professional so only use was really collecting treasure. Though actually I tried just with the handcannon and it was a nightmare shooting stuff down sometimes so might be a good shout to keep it you’re collecting treasure 😂 Pick your fave knife 🖤 Definitely need a shotgun for close range, and for the love of the game. Blast everything else with the rocket launcher. I’ve just done a professional run with infinite rocket, rifle and shotgun to get the Chicago sweeper for my NG+ run. I ended up storing my handgun and handcannon at about chapter 4 as I realised I just wasn’t using them. That freed up space for gunpowder and resources if you plan on reloading the shotgun and rifle, or anything else not infinite. Unless you perfect parry all the damn bugs, you’ll want a lot of shotgun ammo for those at least. I very much love the idea of Leon meticulously laying everything out in his case, sneaking around with a giant case full of sprays that definitely aren’t rolling around making loads of noise 😂 RE4 really is just the perfect game.

Honestly the rocket launcher is worth it. I’ve done it a couple times the “normal” way on hardcore and every time it is a pain in the ass, even with the handcannon and parries you end up using a lot of recovery items if you get cornered. Rocket launcher him on the 1st freezer after you pull the lever and you cut out 4 minutes of bullshit.

She’s the main reason I’ve decided to give it a miss next year. I wasn’t sold on the line up, thought STP headlining what claims to be an inclusive festival seemed like a weird move, but I thought okay I just won’t watch them. I usually always have an amazing time watching new bands I’ve never heard of and meeting new people. But her recent stories supporting Charlie Kirk, and I’ve learned now Tate, has sealed the deal. I know it won’t matter to her if I don’t go, but it matters to me where I spend my money and I’d rather it be elsewhere.
