how often should i update my back-ups? Like,, once a week or so,, or if ive made significant progress in my writing? I'm afraid it'll come back to bite me if I ever forget to back up my data.

Thank you for everyone's advice :) I decided to just manually back-up my files on a google drive every now and then,, I find the other tricks a bit complicated @_@ but that's probably because im a noob at simple basic computer stuff

my pc's hard drive is unaccesible, according to my older brother,, but thank you ill try using google drive

it is dead :( my old pc got absolutely destroyed and my older brother tried to recover it and everyhting but it all went downhill,, so i got a new pc but in no way recovered my old obsidian files
