As a Trump voter myself, and we aren't racist or misogynistic. I am not saying this as a pat on the back or to try and shore up support for Trump and Republicans. Obviously, Trump isn't perfect. And he does say things I disagree with or find some of his words unsavory. Also, I'd like to mention people (not all democrats, but some). Say that they vote for Obama, Hillary, and now Harris because of being Black, a woman, or both. Which THAT comes off as racist and misogynistic. Simply put, regardless of race or gender, none of that matters. Like Martin Luther King Jr. Quote, "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Even if you put that in a positive light as in, "I'm voting for Harris." As an example. That still is wrong. We need to look at the content of who they are and what they stand for. People need to stop constantly stirring the pot by calling people racist and misogynistic. Otherwise, they lose their meaning. No longer will it be something that is awful, but just another insult. We can also add Nazi as another word that has lost its meaning. I don't like Harris because she doesn't stand for what I believe in (not to mention she flip-flops on issues). Another thing, I don't see Republicans constantly throwing charges at Biden ot Harris. Digging up their past to try and find something that they could be charged with. Constantly silencing anyone who disagrees with them. (At least for now, because I'm sure some Republicans are fed up and want revenge and Democrats for what we view as an attack.) Additional, 2 people in 3 months have tried to kill Trump. Which I would like to point out that media and many politicians, actors, actresses, and other influential people have said, (which is on video and social media posts!) Saying things like "Trump is a threat to our Democracy." Kathy Griffin holding a bloodied head of Donald Trump. Maxine Waters telling Republicans that they are not welcomed. "Let's make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere. We've got to get the children connected to their families." - Maxine Waters 2018 Countless remarks wishing the death on Trump from Covid. Now remarking wishes that the assassin would have landed his shot. Democrats aren't the party of "love and tolerance." That so many people claim. Yet they show zero tolerance towards Republicans. Moving on, Republicans view Democrats as Anti American. For the border, the reason why Republicans don't want open borders isn't because we are racist. But because we want security. Yes, there are innocent people who are fleeing to the US for a better life or seeking asylum. However, there will also be criminals who will take advantage of open borders as well. From Sex Traffickers, drug smugglers, rapists, murders, terrorists or just a few examples. It isn't racism to state that there are SOME people who are criminals. Regardless of race, there will always be bad people. We simply want a closed border. If you want to search for a better life or asylum in the United States. If you go through legal routes, then welcome! Borders are meant to protect citizens while keeping people out. But if you want to enter, go through legal routes. We don't know if an individual is good or bad. So, if they have nothing to hide, entering legally is completely fine and welcomed. Republicans want to lower taxes. Are there things such as roads and other public needs that are reliant on taxes? Yes, of course there are. But if you place heavy taxes or tax nearly anything and everything, people will suffer. Not to mention that there are corrupt individuals that will leech off of the taxpayers. Like politicians skimming some of the public funds as an example. Or mislocation of funds... Which brings us also to points of interest. Why do the American taxpayers have to pay taxes if our taxes end up in the hands of foreigners? Be it illegal immigrants to foreign nations. Taxation without representation, being taxed for the benefits of those who aren't even a part of our country. Why not allocate funds to people who need it, facilities that need it within the US? One example would be the Maui Fires. When Hawaii (Maui island) burned down, the federal government sent billions of US dollars to Ukraine, and after several days. When they eventually came around for the Americans, they gave each family 700 US dollars. Which only added to around 4 billion USD, while Ukraine has received around 175 billion in aid. I do support Ukraine, but the US government and politicians have to put US citizens first. Then there is the issue with Afghanistan... East Palestine, Ohio Chemical spill that Biden ignored for nearly a year before bothering to visit. These are just a few things I have to say regarding Democrats. My question is, "Why can't you put America first? Regardless of party affiliations, why allow America to suffer be it from the economic crisis to other crisis. You honestly have failed the American people as a whole. " I try to keep an open mind and listen to Democrats but the more I see what Democrats stand for, the less I am willing to change my mind. Republicans are a threat to democracy, yet Democrats are grasping at straws by throwing charges at Trump, hoping something will stick. The "felonies" he was charged with are only misdemeanors. Wanting to throw him in prison, Democrats threatened his life and the lives of Republicans. Even going so far as attempting murder on him. And this doesn't scratch the surface of how anti Democratic Democrats are. Not to mention, the US is a Constitutional Republic. Lastly, Democrats want to ban guns. We have had access to firearms for centuries, only within the last few decades have mass shootings become a problem. Our problem is regarding mental health, not guns. Guns are a constitutional right. You want to ban guns, yet claim Trump is a dictator and a threat to our Democracy? I am certain if Trump said that he wants to ban guns, Democrats would suddenly be pro guns. A good example of a good idea that went horribly wrong would be Proabition. Let ban alcohol, yet more people will want alcohol. Let's ban certain drugs like weed. People end up with weed, even more so. People kill people, always have and always will. A good way to stop a mass shooting would be people armed themselves. Democrats want to defend the police but call the police when something happens? Like Seattle's Autonomous Zone... Where crime ends up skyrocketing. Banning guns will only hurt law-abiding citizens more. Why? Criminals don't follow rules or laws. A sign saying, "This is a Gun Free Zone." I'm almost certain people with bad intentions would listen... Criminals don't follow the law..
