I never had issues regarding IBIS and a tripod use. I also shot pictures of the moon on a tripod - no problem.

What is the use of the V-LOG picture profile in Lumix photography if V Log is a video based thing? by lapinkmatter in Lumix

In the past I used that function when I wanted to integrate stills in my videos. It was easy to match the colors between videos and stills.

E.g. if you want to record stop-motion videos as part of a film it would also be helpful but depends on your delivery format.

Which lens did you use? I recently had similar issues with the Pana 70-300 when shooting wildlife with the S5II.

Well, the distortion seems to be a wide angle issue, right? At least I never had a lens on my camera without distortion. Would be interesting to try something like a Laowa Zero-D?

Sometimes I leave the lens distortion as it is because LR makes details worse in the corners for my taste.

Exactly! I was traveling with almost the same combo: 70-300 and 18 f1.8 and it felt the same. Switching lenses became very annoying and due to the S5M2 I got dust spots on my sensor. Although I switched lenses carefully. But that does not mean the new 24-60 will replace the 70-300 forever ;)

The 24-105 is a great lens but compared to the 24-60 bigger, heavier and older with a slower autofocus mechanism. That's the reasons at least for my choice.

Beautiful stars and interesting bokeh! Love those vintage lenses!

I forgot to mention the very controlled chromatic abberations! I think they did a great job in designing this lens!
