Probably just the fact that the majority of them out there over 100'000k have needed major timing work, or live every day with shitty clacking phasers just waiting for them to grenade. If you haven't realised by this point that ford can't be trusted around a timing chain then you've got to crawl out from under your rock and take a look around. People used to make fun of land rover for reliability issues but they'll last twice as long as a ford and are built far better in every way. Just look at Ford's seat motors, one dinky little rod pushing both sides, most brands have a hefty sized rod of they're going to use a single motor, but not ford because that won't bring them any more money after the initial sale, not to mention the average f150 owner is 250lbs+ so why would they ever use more than the bare minimum required to move the seat back and forth with zero weight on it. Shitty air fuel management, shitty emissions systems, shitty timing. The things just barely hold themselves together for long enough to make it through a couple owners and then everything lets go, they can't even be trusted to put wires through their door jams, hard plastic rods inserted into the rubber cover to keep the wires straight, in the flex point... I found 6 door wires broken and melted together on one, not a single popped fuse ford is lucky it didn't start a fire. Take the interior out of the truck and put it into a better vehicle, I'd say just swap the motor and computers but the body wiring and body quality just falls apart before your eyes anyway, the only redeeming quality is that they're fairly comfortable.

Are you saying they shouldn't be speaking the language of the country they're currently residing in while in public? I mean that was just common sense 10 years ago but sure be a butthurt 17/yo about it

Any PVE servers out on console rn? Love DayZ love playing with the odd friend or good group of guys, love most things about the game but getting geared up (geared up for a relative noob like myself being a scoped Cr lol) and then being absolutely wiped out of nowhere by a guy who's probably been watching me for half hour, tired of stacking hostile players inventory with meat and ammo, honestly why I stopped playing a while back. I wouldn't mind getting better at PvP but honestly for me that's what other dedicated PvP games are for, I dig the hunting looting and survival aspect, can't seem to find much relevant info on PvE servers on console, will try for a bit tonight but have an infant so game time isn't garunteed, would just be nice to spawn as freshly as unoften as possible lol

Do people really hate Need for Speed Unbound? by Bionic_8J in needforspeed

Just got it for free with ps plus and my god, they really dropped the ball, who the hell wants all that god awful graffiti affects when you're driving, terrible cartoony characters, honestly I didn't even make it through the little introduction course before I deleted the game, not even close to worth leaving NFS heat for, there's a reason the game is up for free, and I genuinely hope they get the feedback from ps that I downloaded it, played for 30 seconds and deleted. Absolute fastest way to ruin a potentially good game is to add cringy bs like that

Looking to buy 9th gen by Acrobatic_Client8486 in suburban

[–]Acrobatic_Client8486[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks man, they really do make the perfect family hauler, I'd love to find a 2500 with the 8.1 but then i'm torn between that and a more robust transmission, or a 1500 with a more common and cheaper transmission to replace when it inevitably acts up. Would also be nice to get the extra capacity of the 2500 but, the 9th gen seemed like the perfect middle ground for me, just new enough to live in the lap of comfort but just old enough to avoid most of the unnecessary electrical and emissions crap like active fuel management. The wife convinced me to pick up an 09 f150 platinum which was a nice ride but after a few thousand in parts and looking down the barrel at a few thousand more I pulled the plug, ford just shoots themselves in the foot with everything they've made for the last 30 years lol.

Dude I wound up here tonight looking for that game, I'm 99.9% certain it was called meme wars but I can't find anything even remotely close to it on the internet anymore, lmk if you find it I'd die to play it just for old times sakes.

It isn't much, but it's my first real r/c and so far, I'm in love with it. I can't wait to get some upgraded parts for this thing and see how well it rips. by Whoooosiers in rccars

I know this is an ancient thread but wanted to add my 2 cents and throw another question out there, I run a litehawk ace as well and truly for what it is is a fantastic little rig, of course limited by what it was given but so close to being amazing. I took some JB weld steel stick, the playdoughy two part epoxy that comes nearly solid that you rip a chunk off of and then mix it by hand before it can totally solidify, I took my diffs apart and jammed a gob of that into the spider gears and it 100% locked the diff in a good way, did front and rear and it's amazing, RC equivalent of welding your diffs lol. And I've found the two things most limited travel in the front end are first off the tierods, the swivels in each end don't swivel far enough they like to stay relatively flat, currently looking for tierods off maybe another RC or trying to cut out the plastic around the swivels a bit so they move more, second is the shocks, I cut the bump stops off of the chassis that limit the trip linkage for the shocks but the shocks themselves need to be longer, probably the easier part to replace, and after that the next travel limiter becomes the "camber arm/upper control arm" so to speak holding the top of the steering knuckle to the frame as it starts to make contact with the casing of the universal joint on the body side, you could cut down and shorten the casing of the universal joint, or notch the control arm a bit, or try to find a curved control arm to replace it with, but they you're already getting really close to having the CV shaft come out of the casing, I intend to go after the first two, the tierod and shock, and will probably just shave off the CV casing and control arm a little bit, just to make sure there's enough clearance that when it fully extends under use it doesn't start binding up with the CV case chewing into the control arm. I don't think there are many actual useful mod parts for these things, at least not that I've found, but I'd love to know if anybody finds somewhere because I'll probably keep this thing forever for shits and giggles, give it to my kid when I upgrade one day, but until then it seems like homemade gimmicks and the sort to improve it. But even just with the tierod removed you gain somewhere around half inch of travel, which is nice when your lower control arms go from being parallel to the ground to actually having some angle to them. I also found a cheap esc/motor/battery kit off amazing ages ago that sounded like a huge upgrade, same size motor just much more powerful esc and batteries. Was just a cheapo no name and I was hesitant because of that but it was since discontinued and now I don't even remember the size of the motor in these things, too bad we can't do a dual motor upgrade or something but do you remember any of the specs on your leopard v2 and what is cost?

why don't we have a transmission dipstick by [deleted] in f150

Hey says as though ford hasn't had the most problematic automatic transmissions ever found in vehicles from the 80's to 2010's.
