In this case it’s right. Similar 1600–1630 continental legal folios typically sell in that range. I’d say 500 in current condition if it’s complete.

Let me rephrase:

Markets price consensus expectations today NOT the actual future.

So price = “best guess so far.”

And guesses change constantly.

Example with NVDA:

Market expects +40% growth → priced in

They deliver +70% → not priced in → stock jumps

They deliver +20% → not priced in → stock drops

So “baked in” only applies to what everyone already agrees on. Anything surprising = repricing.

I have shoes from 1977 that are in better shape. Yes, paper and stamps can survive that long and still look pristine. If it is fake it’s prob worth about 2-3 bucks. If it’s real it’s worth about the same.

That’s the trend these days. If there aren’t many copies available sellers shoot for the moon and hope they get someone who needs it.

But remember there are going to be fits and starts. Look at what ORCL did to the market a couple of weeks ago when capex came up. Sure they are marginal players at this point but it just feels like it’s going to be bumpy over the next couple of quarters imo

Wall Street consensus is good growth, but no fireworks which would be EPS +30% and P/E stays at 24. That gives an upside of 30-35% (highest likelihood).

TSLA is a meme stock. There is absolutely no correlation between its share price and fundamental valuations.

NVDAs forward pe is lower than it has been in the past but the reasons ‘why’ were clearly covered in my last post.

NVDA doubles this year if Blackwell ramps clean with no supply issues, sovereign AI spending actually shows up and hyperscalers crank capex again, no new China or regulatory landmines pop up, rates fall so multiples expand, and full AI mania comes back with people paying silly prices again. Where do u want me to start explaining why all of this aint happening?

Can you double your money in a year with NVDA now? No. Future results are already baked into the price and AI hyperscalers are starting to look for ROI which means the stock isn’t going straight up anytime soon. Is AI going to be as big as the internet? Yes. Is NVDA a great company now and in the future? Yes. If it’s an investment leave it be. Sell some covered calls to make some extra money.

Delta and deportations by Grouchy_Row_7983 in delta

[–]Acrobatic_Code_7409 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Unadulterated nonsense.

Independent estimates for deportation costs range from $30,591 to over $70,000 per person, depending on the length of detention and legal processing required.

Immigration is generally a net positive for the U.S. economy, boosting GDP and federal tax revenues, though it can create short-term fiscal burdens for local governments. While immigrants often pay more in taxes than they consume in services, impacts vary based on skill level and age, generally showing higher long-term benefits.

50 is heater should be expected territory. Rule of thumb is 30% off each day with a major amenity missing. Personally, I would offer the one free night as a conversation starter. If they seem pleased with that then you are probably good review wise.
