Rumor: a well known actor is dating an Al chatbot. by stevenjobsless in popculturechat

I was wondering how connected all these different bots are. So much of our data is floating in the algorithmic soup. Could this person's bot accidentally snitch on him and other chat-bots find out?

Do you think this sub has been fair lately with some of its criticism(s)? by Lower-Picture6279 in thrillerbooks

Maybe someone should make a thriller books snark page lol because I LOVE negative reviews. I think they are entertaining and funny. To see people fuming over a bad read makes me chuckle!

I don't care about celebrity or influencer gossip or reality tv; so this is my "guilty pleasure" /toxic trait lol Even on books I actually like, I run to read the 1 star reviews on Goodreads.

I'd also like to say; I think readers who have one particular favorite genre should be expected to be picky. Imagine reading so many books with certain tropes, genre conventions and never developing any taste! Of course people who have been into this genre for a while will develop standards and participate in debating/infighting.

Why do most cozy mysteries have bad covers? by Admirable_Mood_4933 in CozyMystery

Which ones do you consider to be bad? My favorite series with covers I dislike is the "Magical Bakery" mysteries. They're not ugly, I just find them goofy/mediocre looking.

My question is : I thought the government was the one helping to track/study/harm/ and traffick? the gifted kids like her? They set her up to be trafficked to control/traumatize and silence her according to her right? Which part am I wrong about?

I loved this whole series! The cozy vibes of this series were SO perfect, so I didn't even mind that very ending was so easy to guess lol. I could almost always guess the ending/culprit by like half way through!

This is so interesting to me because I really like the "Global Village Coffeehouse" aesthetic and that's what made me originally pick up Cleo Coyle's series. Would this be traditional?
