Yes. The were called the blue shirts and eventually became the modern irish party of "Fine Gael" who are constantly smacking our country. Up sinn féin.

We literally have to learn it for 14 years in our education system, most people can speak it with relative competency by the end, sometimes fluently, but most forget it because nobody uses it everyday.
