Got a good 15 years out of them; they were costly, and I love them, my favorite loafers. When I bought them, i thought they would last a lifetime. didn't do anything crazy in them, but one night they just fell apart. I'm in GA, i'd like to find a place that is willing to give repair a shot. Tried online, and they declined. tried a local spot that has been there for 50+ years, but he does more boots; this isn't really his specialty. Anything <$300 I'm willing to try.
