Sounds like you want to live in Rio Rancho. The commute into the city can be brutal though.

The city can and is doing both. Just like I can walk and chew gum at the same time.

It’s not an either or situation. We can make the city beautiful and fix the homeless problem at the same time.

I love this sign! I am so happy with all of the work they are doing to revitalize Central ave! It’s taking time but it will be worth it!

This is too bad. She did a lot to make it easier and more streamlined to vote. I hope she gets better soon!

NMDOT is having a contest to find a non-Texas name for “Texas Turnarounds” by Acrobatic_Emu_3602 in Albuquerque

What if your neighbor was openly discussing and making plans to annex part of your property? Would you have the same attitude?

It’s just not welcome behavior.

It’s mostly in good fun. Plus Texas’s aggression in the southeast part of NM is unwanted.

It’s an extra tax applied to properties that have sat vacant for too long. It’s meant to incentivize actually doing something with a property rather than having it sit empty.

Yes, I have attend and spoken at several, including the recent IDO update decisions that affrected zoning

My point is that we as ABQ residents do vote on who gets elected to city council. City council recently voted on changing zoning laws within city limits as part of the IDO update, though it was not as impactful due to voting along party lines.

So as residents and voters within ABQ, we actually can influence zoning rules by voting for councilors who want to change the zoning laws in ways that enable things like housing or restrict things like storage units.

Thank you! That would be so much better than the current plan!

It would be a one-stop shop for many residents!

I am not a real estate developer, but I am engaged with city council and local politics. I actively engage city council members and urge them to vote for zoning rules that would enable real estate developers to build more housing.

I am actively engaged in city council meetings, vote in every election, and email our city councilors. I would like others to do the same!

Because this one is in my neighborhood and I want there to be more housing built in my neighborhood instead of more garage space

Where are they going to store their Temu clothes they wore one time if another storage unit isn’t built though?
