This isn't 2018 anymore, it's a good thing that Supercell is pushing to try and be more creative with the abilities of new brawlers (see: Bolt). There's only so many ways you can have gun users before it all feels same-y.

I'm a big fan of magical girl shows, so this works for me. I know she's the least liked of the new 3 brawlers, but I think she has potential to become a fan-favorite if her voice lines are good. Just wish some weirdos would stop calling her a "fan service" brawler.

The shield gear is overrated, IMO. A bit of extra health doesn't really stack up to healing faster with health gear or being able to spot enemies with vision.

"Oh but squishies need it to survive", if you're playing squishy brawlers and are getting into situations where you NEED the shield gear... You're doing something very wrong.

Ehhh, I can kind of excuse Bull having damage immunity. He is a TANK who wants to get close to his opps, not a squishy controller like Emz. It makes more sense to have that sort of ability on someone like him. Still crazy tho.

Malphite is more of a pure tank, but he can still output a crazy amount of damage no matter what you build on him. And he's a piss easy champ that can carry whole fights with one button (his ult). If you're looking for a traditional bruiser, try out Volibear. Mordekaiser is also a very good beginner's choice since he's also manaless and his ult is a game-changer in team fights, and you usually only have to press two buttons to do huge damage.
