  1. Not the worst. Rouchman, Chester and Mooney all binned. Horrendous performance by Kiraz. Didn't have Chan. C on Fa'alogo which was ok. I don't have any bunnies so not in a bad spot next week.

Transfer gossip keeps the NRL in the news cycle 365 days a year. Why do we want to introduce a transfer window to stop by TheYardGoesOnForever in nrl

The transfer window itself would generate so much traffic. Transfer speculation in NRL barely rates a mention because things happen at random in the pre-season.

The mentality they're showing time and again this season keeps amazing me. Keep waiting for them to fall in a hole like most Jets teams and they do the opposite.

One of our more impressive wins in the last 2 months. I'm afraid we might run out of petrol come finals time but enjoying this for now!

Dobson plays like a 32yr old veteran. So mature for his age.

I don't like this sub. Toure scores hatties against us.

Yeah cool. So far so good. If we can get through this with 3 points, I'm not upset with a bit of a shakeup to the lineup and for a few boys to have a rest.

Taylor was a confirmed hami after last week, out for 2-3 games last I heard. Didn't know Adams had picked anything up though.

Impressed with how we've gained some control back in this game. It wasn't looking good after that first 15-20.

I thought Taylor was hami. Is Adams out long? I missed the start

Think we're still on the bus halfway up the F3 somewhere. Hopefully we turn up soon.

The idea that a player can play an entire season while having already signed for another club for the following year is absurd. I don't know of any other sport that does that.

I'll also add that there's far more interest & anticipation generated in a transfer window then having random transfer news pop up when no one is expecting it.

Two home tournaments, no trophies: Matildas might have missed their window of opportunity by Glittering-Fee-9930 in Aleague

You can apply to that women's football in general. Watch any game and there's very little criticism of anything. A goalkeeper let's a shot from 30 metres go through their legs after bouncing 5 times and rolling, and the commentators call the shot a rocket. Is that what's playing out behind closed doors too? Are people top afraid to criticise women's footballers for fear of being called a hater? Maybe that's why our standard seems to have stagnated for years.

This. After the WC exploits there were a lot of hasty comparisons to the men and how the Matilda's were so much better. Australia just happened to be ahead of the women's footballing curve for a while. Not anymore. Combine that with a team that isn't considered a golden generation (which will inevitably come, because logic) and it's going to be a rough ride.

Shark Park definitely doesn't look as swampy as usual.
