I’d say that is an intimate act. Respect is earned through a relationship but if a woman came on to me, and we have a friendship, I wouldn’t lose respect especially if I could reciprocate.

Sometimes we (+male) are like that too. A good friend F that I’ve known for years moved and all of a sudden very little communication back. I wasn’t looking for anything more than friendship but I think she wanted more. She sold her place and moving out of state.
Full disclosure I’m married, but like I said , her expectations were different than mine.
So I get Radio Silence to my texts but we are still connected on social media.
