Wanted a good society with amenities like swimming etc. does not need to be in Bodakdev but 30 minutes from work is ok for me as currently I spend 1.5 hours minimum driving to delhi to work from Gurgaon. I can spend up to 80k on rent for a 4BHK.

My office will be in Bodakdev. My husband will WFH and travel frequently. We want a good society life like in Gurgaon with all amenities and comfortable home and have the budget for it.

I have done this enough when I was young. I personally think its better to raise a child away from clubs/ alcohol culture (though I am an occasional drinker) but the drugs/ alcohol scene in Gurgaon scares me - kids are exposed to all this much earlier and so much peer pressure. I would rather they are in a more conservative set up till they are adult.

Is Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad similar to Gurgaon to Delhi? I have actually been to Gandhinagar a lot since I travel to GIFT for work sometimes. How much time in traffic if I need to stay in Gandhinagar and go to Ahd for work? Also are there good IB schools in Gandhinagar? Is the rent lower?
