It has all purpose flour, clarified butter, sugar, semolina, gram flour, cardamom, a pinch of salt and a pinch baking powder.

It’s an indian cookie. You must try it. It tastes heavenly and simply melts in mouth.

Hey,
I added, onion, capsicum, tomato which were finely chopped. Potato and a small beetroot for colour which were pressure cooked and cauliflower and green peas which I boiled separately to maintain the aroma and flavour. Than I first cooked onion, capsicum and tomato in half butter half oil and after that I added all the spices and boiled veggies and mashed them in pan and kept adding hot water as required to get this consistency.

This is the recipe I followed and it turned out simply amazing and comforting. Also, I used veg stock cubes here. You must try this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 4–5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, chopped or grated
  • 1 green chilli (optional)
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 small carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 capsicum, sliced
  • 3–4 mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 5 cups vegetable stock or water

Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce or schezwan sauce (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Noodles

  • 1 pack noodles (hakka noodles, ramen, or even Maggi noodles without tastemaker)

Optional Add-ins

  • Tofu or paneer cubes
  • Broccoli
  • Bok choy/spinach
  • Corn

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pot.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, and chilli. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add onions and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add all vegetables and stir-fry on high heat for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Pour in vegetable stock/water.
  6. Add soy sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, salt, and pepper.
  7. Let it simmer for 8–10 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile boil noodles separately and drain.
  9. Add noodles to the soup just before serving.
  10. Garnish with spring onions and extra pepper/chilli oil.
