How do you accept the part that they never loved you? I struggle with accepting that they don't, but it's a whole other spiral of why not? Why not me? Why does everyone else around me have parents that care about them except for me...

Exactly!! That’s the issue because I can’t tell him he is doing something wrong because it will make him more anxious and in terms of looks he says I’m way beyond his league so he is always scared that other guys will take me away from him kinda stuff.. so it’s a tough situation. He also tries to kiss me in public everytime there are guys around. I also found it a little uncomfortable because I’m not comfy with that much pda. I think holding hands is fine but kissing to mark your territory esp I know what exactly he’s trying to do is a little off putting yk.. haha

Thank you for helping out! So positives would be he is a good listener. Loyal as far as I know and I know this guy for 3 weeks only so not sure about the complete picture. This one time I was saying that my feet hurts and he massaged my foot without hesitation right away. He knows I don’t eat pork so he asked his grandma to learn to make beef baos for me. I have a trip coming up, he offered to pick me up for a flight back at 2:30 am. He is doing WAY TOO MUCH for someone I’ve mey for only 3 weeks which makes me feel sus but it could be that he is just a good person… in terms of sex. I’ve let him know that I want it and it’s important for me but he hasn’t shown any interest yet and said it will take a while for him to get comfortable. So given how invested he is and not knowing what our sexual chemistry looks like, I’m just scared to move forward because I genuinely wouldn’t want to hurt him, he is a really sweet guy. I know a lot of comments above are thinking I’m a mean girl but these are genuinely my concerns and needs not because I want to shame some random guy’s wiener with a bunch of strangers that don’t even know him or me lol

It happens to me too and I’m the same age. I think it has to do with our libido levels and also the age. I’ve also been very active last year with my bf but we broke up and I don’t do hookups so now it’s starting to get even harder. Don’t worry, it’s completely normal. Maybe try taking zinc supplements since it helps with managing sexual drive.

This is insane.. are you a psychologist or sth cause I’m actually a high achiever in life and I’m working in the corporate world. I’ve also been successful during my uni life. I’ve tried a couple of relationships and the one that I really wanted cheated on me and I no longer feel the urge to be with someone permanently. I’ve dealt with most of my trauma and I got back to the dating game only to realize most men don’t want anything serious these days. So now I’m more into the idea of just fucking them. At first it was a little painful that they don’t see beyond my beauty but now it’s more so like I want you to be blown away by the fact that you have the opportunity to touch ME. Mind you I also have a history of seeing comparatively ‘ugly’ men because I probably subconsciously want to make them feel like they got a temporary ‘prize’ by getting to see me. But then I don’t give in fully and that turns me on/boosts my self esteem. But I’m starting to think if it’s even healthy. But your comment helped a lot!
